Recently much improved - delicious, fresh tasting food, not the usual curry fare. Recommend especially the Murgh Razala & Tandoori Chicken
Lovely food at these Indian restaurant, we like spicy food and here the apparently use a kind of chilly that is not easy to find in other locations in London, we will definitely come back!!
When so many Indian restaurants in London end up tasting the same and serving a disapponting selection that you could pick up almost anywhere, Spice of Life will blow your socks off. Quite aside from the friendly service and an owner who prefers to keep the music pop rather than Punjab, this is the only Indian eatery where I've ever seen a specials board - and one that takes advantage of local produce no less. Having eaten in as well as order food to take away I can say that all the dishes have been great with many offering tastes I've never had anywhere else. If you're in the area and fancy a curry with a difference, breeze past the others and head here.
Great! I was out in lewisham and wanted to treat myself to a birthday meal and fancied some Indian. I done a quick Google search and found this place. The reviews were good so gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. Firstly the 2 men that I met there were so friendly and helpful. I couldn't decide which Curry to get and they made a recommendation of the chilli massala. I had lamb and it was so soft. They even threw in some popodoms :) the green sauce that came with it was really nice too. Peshwari naans are my fav!. Everything was so nice! The portions were good sized, I ate half of my feast and fell asleep shortly after 😆 it was a great birthday meal. I'm glad I ordered from them. Thank you!!
First time Visiting, The Starters were so Huge and Delicious, we had to take our Mains Home.

Fabulous restaurant, both for the in-house experience and food quality either there or as a takeaway. The staff are lovely, really friendly and helpful. The food is delicious: very well-balanced flavours, tasty sauces, and everything seems like great quality. Only took one visit for us to become regulars :)
Even though the Naan bread wasn't that cheesy , the food was amazing! You must try it !( The only negative things was actually soft drinks, they were tasteless) .

I have eaten in the resturant and order for take out. The staff are amazing so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious and large portions at a reasonable price - i wouldnt go anywhere else.

Food is incredible, flavourful light and AMAZING value, the £20 deal they do. (starter, main, veg, rice) is top value.

This place ROCKS! The service is truly amazing, Ash was very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the whole experience was top shelf. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian food and great service.
Old school Indian food as we used to get in the past. Quality, great flavours and generous portions. I'm waiting for them to open right now!!
