Visited with my frnds as i don't drink bit come with friends and enjoyed cheese burger while my friends enjoyed beer and cocktail etc...

I think this is the only pub in London I would suggest to friends. Amazing place, bright and cosy, simple furnishing but really nice, staff so kind. We went for lunch, having a goat cheese salad, a tasty rabbit and a big selection of english cheese (wonderful stilton!). It's not really cheap, but I think it's definitly to try out.
Just had a spectacular dinner with mates. The pop corn chicken & pork belly were delectable!
Absolutely Great. The Mall Tavern has been reopened under new ownership for just a week, and it's fantastic. Forget reviews from the past - this is a new place. The menu is limited, but everything we had was great. My wife had the pea soup with ham, and the Mall Salad. She said it was one best salads she had ever had. I had the Sirloin Steak with Portobello mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly with a nice sauce, and came nicely plated with a small stack of french fries. We finished off the meal sharing a wonderful pear tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We will definitely return, and encourage others to try it out.
Head chef Jesse Dunford Wood specialises in classic British dishes done exceptionally well, which has produced many signature dishes for the Mall Tavern, including the cow pie and the chicken kiev.
The Mall Tavern has been in its current ownership for about a year now, with chef Jesse Dunford Wood (off tonight), who trained at assorted establishments including Gidleigh Park and Marque in Sydney, was a sous chef at Kensington Place and was recently involved with the Dean Street Townhouse. The menu is gloriously retro British, with Chicken Kiev and Arctic Roll amongst the choices.

Hidden just off the high street, the Mall Tavern is a gastro pub with a fully functioning utilitarian bar. This isn't a restaurant masquerading as a gastro pub, this is a pub which serves very good food. They have a variety of beers on draught and even stock proper crisps (for proper, read Monster Munch). Add a dart board and a fruit machine and I would happily settle in for a few hours.
phenomenal food and staff!! We are so glad we found this amazing pub on a whim! Staff had great recommendations, service was excellent, food was even better than we imagined!! Highly recommend asking the staff for suggestions. We had two awesome appetizers with them: our favorite being the burretta! We also enjoyed Sunday roast and pork belly with all of the trimmings! 5 stars!
We stumbled upon the Mall Tavern after getting a drink at Churchill Arms and it was the happiest little accident. The staff was so kind, accommodating and fun! They quickly made room for our group of 7 to sit and enjoy dinner. The candlelit space was so cozy and comforting. The staff was so efficient about getting our drink and food orders. The food was the best! The server recommended a delicious wine. The brisket croquettes were divine. The fries were the most amazing fries we’ve ever had. As Americans visiting the UK we were really excited to have a roast dinner on a Sunday and the Mall Tavern made that sweet little dream come true. I ordered the pork belly with crackling. Talk about perfection! The meat was tender and the crackling was fire! And I wanted like 3 more servings of the sticky toffee pudding. My visit to The Mall Tavern has to be one of my all time favorite dining experiences anywhere.
Your pub is awesome. Went with friends today. Food was amazing, and we all cleaned our plates. And I love the neighborhood it is in. We are from America/Cleveland OHIO and so enjoyed our time in your pub.
I’ve never expected to have such excellent dishes at pub! Scotch egg, shepherd pie are best of best. No need to say their beer selection was great also.

🏛 Classy corner pub from the outside, very much a pub of two halves inside. One area for dining, one with small tables for proper drinking.
🍺 So much beer! The pub has a reputation as a home of great drinks and it's well deserved.
ℹ️ The pub has 23 taps and the up to date list of drinks is on its website. Really pleasing to see this commitment to beer.
🙋♂️ My view: Overall a great pub with a real love of craft beers. I could have had a few flights in here quite happily.
Incredible food! The BEST fish n' chips I had the whole trip and the barley soup was absolutely delish. A must when in London!

Absolutely fabulous experience here! We stumbled upon this pub quite by accident but SO glad we did - all of the staff were so kind and personable, incredibly swift service and fantastic food! Lots of drink options, very fair prices. Will absolutely be going back next time we're in London! Thanks for a wonderful experience!!
Super good Sunday roast! We had the vegetarian nut roast. Great service too. Our server, Karolina, was accommodating with our requests. Enjoyed their Sunday roast with cauliflower cheese and had some toffee pudding after. Delicious! We arrived at 12.30, not so loud yet, great ambience for talking and having a good meal.
