A fab little find with a few of my fave things. Great live music (they take requests), a lovely team and a £5 cocktail happy hour until 7pm. We managed to get a table right nxt to the stage which was good to see the full talent of the vocalists and musicians. They serve food, but on this occasion we didnt order, but I will be back next week to check it out. Lovely place. A bar with a difference.

After standing on my feet all day, I was really looking forward to a night of good music and cocktails to kick-start my weekend. . Located in the basement of a Victorian listed warehouse in the heart of Farringdon, The Piano Works is a creative. space of live music and entertainment which seeks to revive the tradition of Victorian music halls - the fascinating, long-forgotten days of smoking jazz lounges, swing balls

Simple food, a few confidently made cocktails and a bit of live music are all things that make a great night out, and all three are done fabulously well at The Piano Works. This late night newcomer is based in the heart of Farringdon, in a 400-capacity Victorian-listed warehouse. The premise at The Piano Works is simple – you write down whichever song you want to hear onto a napkin, give that napkin to a waitress who passes it on to the band. The band, formed of pianists, guitarists, saxophone players and an impassioned drummer, only play songs requested by napkin  – a fabulous medium in which to communicate, by the way.

We had a wonderful evening - 2 course set menu meal and drinks for two. The food was really lovely. We also had 2 cocktails on the '2 for 1' offer - really proper, with all the alcohol - nothing left out! Great! We were looked after really well all evening by our waiter, Charbel - who took care of all our needs and made us feel relaxed. Really professional - if we went to the Piano Works again, we would want him to be our waiter again - unless (as should be) that he is running his own famous night club with very long queues to get in! We enjoyed the whole concept of requesting songs for the pianists to play. Loved the décor and the relaxed atmosphere. The two lady pianists/vocalists were excellent musicians, as were the band members who came on to join them later.

I visited the piano along with my husband and friends. We were soon welcomed by a lovely waitress who was very nice and professional. The atmosphere was also good and the entertainment excellent. I really enjoyed the girl dressed up as ginger spice who played the trumpet. The photo booth was also a good idea along with the face painting.

A lovely and lively place with a live band where you can send them your song requests while you eat and drink the night away. Came here for my friend’s birthday this weekend (Sat evening) and it was VERY busy - lots of hen and stag dos. The musicians were fantastic, especially when the full band were out. In the end, they had so many song requests that they only performed songs if you tipped. Tipping is optional and I’m sure on a quieter night it wouldn’t matter so much if but just something to consider when coming here so remember to bring some cash. However, food and drinks must be paid by card. Food was good, I really enjoyed the buttermilk chicken starter. I got the lamb rump for mains but I wasn’t really a fan of the flavours, lamb was cooked well which I was happy with. Service was incredible, our waiter Fabio was so so attentive (we were a big group!) and he did amazingly well attending to all of our requests and made everything run smoothly. Big thanks to Fabio! All in all, a wonderful evening. I would go back but probably on a weekday evening when it’s a little less busy and people are not so smashed off their faces.

We had an amazing night tonight at the piano works. Live musicians constantly taking song requests, delicious food and well made cocktails (I think the menu had six pages of cocktails!). Waitress was super friendly, helpful and attentive. Thank you piano works!

Had a great Friday night here. Service and music are awesome! Very strange feature with the woman in the toilet who opens the tap for you and gives you a towel. I felt very uncomfortable as I am able to do it by myself and I don't want to interact with anyone in the toilet. Also the man who provided the same service in the men toilet openly asked my friend for a tip. It was not a good experience at all. That's why I give 4 starts instead of 5. Except this, highly recommend to visit :)

Always a great time! Fantastic live music and staff. Feels very safe with lots of security in every corner. Not a lot of places to sit if you haven't booked dinner though, so get ready to dance all night!

We came here around 5:30 on a Friday, and the vibes were exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet, not crowded at all, and the drinks were all half off. The venue is underground, so it feels exclusive but still casual. Our requests got in fairly quickly, and the musicians were very talented. I requested Flowers, and I loved her cover more than the original.

Really great venue and our waiter Carlos was lovely. We were a bit late for our booking, but they still managed to accommodate us and squeeze in our 3 courses before they needed the table back. The pianists were very talented and food was really good - they were serving tables of around 30 people each but our little table of 3 still got very good attentive service.
