These are the best - I love the vegan ones, you can’t even tell the difference

Andrea has the kindest and bubbliest hospitality I’ve ever had anywhere. The nata were lovely.

I promised a good review, so here it is.
As a side note, the Portuguese tarts were wonderfully creamy. Comes in many flavours as well, though I recommend the original since I’m boring. You do you though.

Always stopping here every time I’m in Hammersmith. Freshly made and one of the very bests egg tarts I’ve had so far.

Wow! We were blown away by the passion and coffee from Sergio. The tarts were heavenly light and moreish! Absolutely delicious

There's a mindboggling number of nata options available. What was baffling was how good the vegan nata was, as it was slightly less sweet.

Super duper vegan pasteis de nata!! I highly recommend visiting Cafe de nata and going home with a box. Each pasteis de nata is £2.50 or £6.50 for a box of 3. Freshly made and delightfully decadent! Go on treat yourself. The Hammersmith branch is located within the shopping mall, right next to Tesco express!

Last time I passed through the Station I finally managed to stop by this little Portuguese marvel and I ended up leaving with 6 Vegan Egg Tarts after a pleasant chat with two friendly ladies behind the counter.
While we were discussing the ingredients I was impressed to hear about the passion behind the traditional making of these delicious pastry bites.I have been Vegan for almost 10 years but I still remember the flavours of the food I used to eat without questioning where it came from or WHO it was..My first time in Lisbon I used to have Pastel de Belen for breakfast every day and I never forgot the delicate crunch and the thick custard invading my mouth and mind, making me an absolute slave after just one bite.
I have had Egg Custard Tarts since in the UK but nothing compared to the heavenly flavours I experienced, Egg Tarts are just that:eggy filling and a bland crumbly crust.
Looking through the glass counter in Café de Nata I suddenly seemed to recognise the authentic golden features, the sugary, flakey nests and mouthwatering creme brulé texture and, by Jove , was I right!! The six little tarts 😂 barely made the journey back on the tube before they systematically disappeared one by one down to the last crumb! Absolutely delicious 😋 Now I have read the reviews and criticism about the flavours, custard consistency, sweetness, blah blah blah, I don't know what it's all about: my brain recognised the hint of Portugal I tasted all those years ago and that's all I need to be hooked 🥰
I am told that I need to try and get to this little Café early in the morning to get my hands on a freshly baked batch...God Help me if I do I will probably buy the whole tray !!!!!

This was a great find. Natas are GREAT! Different flavors. I liked the raspberry and coconuts, my wife prefers the traditional plain ones. Coffees are great too. Only take-away at this location. There is a discount for ordering 3.
