In love with this place. Very good place, optimal hygienic conditions and friendly staff not to mention the prompt and punctual service as well. Wonderful place .
Great night out, definitely recommend it is so much fun with great discounts and free shots so cannot complain! Thank you Michael, awesome host.
Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Well today I went to this restaurant and I must say that this is one of the best restaurant in this area. They serve wide variety of non veg dishes And each and every item deserve 5*.. Food at this outlet was really delicious. Looking forward to visit this outlet again.
British fare elevated by several notches. The pork pie was absolutely delightful and the dessert, their take on the baked Alaska, a show-stopper!
The dining room at Berners Tavern is stunning with dripping chandeliers, sculptures and floor to ceiling paintings.
To match, the food is outstanding. We came in for the Sunday menu and weren't disappointed. I had the Mac and cheese with beef short rib and it was rich, cheesy, creamy and the addition of the beef was oh so satisfying and full of burnt end flavour. So bad but so good.
The roast was standard, however the roast pork didn't come with crackling as any good old pork roast would, but instead there was crackling dust which just wasn't the same. The Yorkshire pudding was a little bit soggy and comes stuffed with buttery greens.
On the other hand, drinks took a while to arrive and we had to wait a very long time for our table to be cleared and order dessert.
Overall, great for food but we felt a little neglected in terms of service.
Beautiful dining room crowded of painting on every single spots of the wall I was invited for breakfast there I enjoy this place very much always had a fantastic meal here it has become a regular Birthday treat every year service is very great and the food menu option is suitable for everyone
Perfect spot for a quiet, delicious meal in Soho. Always had a fantastic meal here, it has become a regular birthday treat every year! The service is great and the menu options will suit everyone in a beautiful setting.
I was invited for breakfast there. I had minimal food, but enjoyed the place itself very much - very fancy and you feel pampered even if you're just having a black coffee like I did!
Beautiful dining room crowded of painting on every single spot of the walls. the food is good but the cocktail selection is even better. I like this place also for a coffee and working for a wile in this not chaotic environment in central London. Waiters are nice and the service is fast.
Beautiful place. We had 2 courses lunch. Starting with beef tartare and prawn cocktail, and both were delicious. Main dishes were also good, but I really loved the starters.
BTW, floor manager Fabio was fabulous 🩷

4/5 stars
The atmosphere here is wonderful, creating a really enjoyable dining experience. The service was a mixed bag—some staff were incredibly friendly, while others seemed stressed and gave off the impression they wanted us to hurry up. The food was generally good, with the mac & cheese being the standout dish. Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely brilliant place, I love the decor and general amazing ambience.
Attention to detail in every aspect.
The staff are amazing and the venue is phenomenal.
I could not find fault, from the drink choice to the luxury food, amazing food!!!
This is an unassuming place and the name definitely doesn't do it justice, but that in itself is great.
I would highly recommend this place as a restaurant, or an opulent event space with versatile use.
Service was flawless, decor was outstanding. The wait staff were really knowledgeable about the history of the building and gave us lots of amazing little facts. As a vegetarian, I had the focaccia which was amazing, the risotto which was ok, and the chocolate hazelnut tart which was also ok. Probably better if you eat meat.
A must while in London. The atmosphere is lovely and makes you feel like you’re in high society. When the atmosphere and service is top-notch, you half expect the food to slack because you’re usually paying for the experience, but that’s not the case here. Everything was delicious! We had the Nosey Neighbour cocktail and a glass of champagne from the cart, then had the ribeye, mixed salad, roasted lemon sole (highly recommend), broccoli; and our daughter got the breaded chicken from the kids menu. We ended our meal with the Coconut Alaska. We haven’t finished a single meal while in London, but we finished everything here. My waist line is yelling at me, but my mouth is happy. Highly recommend!!
Was staying at the hotel so I treated myself to breakfast at the tavern. Service was good and the atmosphere was very posh. I spent my time admiring the paintings that almost tessellated the high walls and the grand chandeliers.
I enjoyed a pot of tea and the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Loved the bread rack that my toast was served in.
Would love to come back for afternoon tea!
Note: the website says it closes at 10am but on the weekend it is open much later.
Firstly, I was astonished by the decor and environment here. Beautifully setup. The menu is also well designed. Experience is extremely nice and food of course gorgeous.
We really enjoyed our first visit to Berners Tavern. It’s just off Oxford Street but we were able to park on the street as it was past restriction time. The lobby bar and the dining room are stunning! The tables for two are on banquettes along the walls - so sitting opposite one another. And there are an awful lot of them! I imagine this would make conversation, on a date, quite difficult - it’s very noisy. I spotted an empty table in the corner as we came in and requested it rather than the one in the middle of the throng on the far side of the room which was surrounded by other diners. The hostess was very obliging and we had drinks at the bar while it was prepared.
The food was really good. I had the Dorset crab to start (I omitted to say no coriander/cilantro - it contains a lot but doesn’t mention it on the menu), my husband had the pork pie. We shared the Chateau Briand for our main. It was fantastic!
The service was great - attentive and professional however the steak was served when my husband had popped out for a cigarette (I would have expected them to wait) and a couple of our orders were mixed up. I asked for mint tea was given camomile …
We will definitely return. It was good value for money for the quality. £215 including service but without any alcohol or desserts.
Popped in for coffee at the Edition Hotel as the reviews were very good. It's just minutes from Tottenham Court Road Station and so the location is simply ideal when out for shopping and business meetings. The service was splendid, the staff were very courteous and I felt truly welcomed. I need to spend more time at the Berners Tavern so will visit again very soon!
We dined at Berners Tavern on Thursday night for a special occasion. The staff made sure everything was perfect, the mac and cheese was very tasty and the meat main courses as well. A special thanks to the sommelier Francesco and Salvatore who took care of us by recommending us the best choice of wines! I would definitely recommend for a wonderful evening in a great venue, 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
