High quality, fresh food at a reasonable price. It felt very exclusive because of the small size of the restaurant but wasn't pretentious.

The best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy. Better than most IN Italy. We absolutely loved this place and it’s intimate setting. My only disappointments were 1) The wine/offering; no Asti available but there’s definitely space of it in their collection👀 it’s become such an underrated drink. 2) The service was slow to start with. 10+ mins sat with no offer of water or to order drinks. They could do with a third person in my opinion

Had dinner here and I must say, what a little gem. Its so small that it feel like u eating at home. Great ambience and the staff was great. The food was tasty, best Italian i had so far. Would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

Romantic? This little hidden jewel right on the riverside os where you want to get your ring out. She will love it. The Italian crew will spoil you so that you never want to leave❣️

Nice and Cozy settings with a touch of style and elegance. Welcoming and helpful staff, great food, literally. However the seats are limited so I would recommend to make reservations if you’d like to visit. Generally I’d say it’s around £50-£70 per person for 3 courses with half bottle wine (not crazy expensive ones of course). It’s not the most economic place in the area but the food is great...... As a bit of a wine geek (WSET certified) myself I have to say they have a well selected wine menu, however not the liqueurs, in my opinion. All my 3 courses came beautifully with great flavour. One more thing, it’s great that they have a proper, elegant concise food menu, unlike many other Italian places in London that have a menu like a bloody dictionary... good for a change 🙄

A seemly unlikely area for one of the best Italian restaurants in London. The venue is in a small fort-like building so the setting is intimate and the menu choices is compact. All the pasta is made in house so expect some excellent tasting dishes. The vegetarian ravioli was some of the best that I have ever had. And the ragu was excellent -so I was told.

Having been here before, I took my partner and a couple of friends out for a treat (mostly because I was dreaming about the delectable prawn starter) and we all had a fantastic time. We each had different dishes and really enjoyed every course. My slow cooked lamb tortellini was incredible. I’d almost go as far as saying it changed my life - so I ordered another portion to share. Great value for money, a 3 course at the quality we had from two brothers who clearly care about the food and service for £45 is an absolute bargain especially in the fantastic historical ammo store settings. We’ll be back soon!

A culinary wasteland existed known in dark whispers as Woolwich. This dark place was devoid of anything good in the way of top munchies. For too long the oppressive overlords of Mcdonads and Greggs had held sway. A place so misbegotten that Nandos could be considered fine dining... A place without light, without taste buds, without, hope (although it does have a ferry) until at last a savior came to the lands. That savior was CON GUSTO. And yea it was good, and yea it was tasty and our taste buds rejoiced and our bellies were full and it was good. It's been a long weight but at last I have something good that's close by! A great experience from start to finish. Staff were attentive, not too much and not too little, but just right and genuinely friendly. The food was really very good. Very good. There is some real skill displayed from the kitchen. Pasta made on site! Starters were tortellini stuffed with very flavorsome slow cooked pork shoulder and came with a cheesy foam. Mains I had the risotto because it came with octopus which i love and can hardly resist ordering when I see it. My other half had the chicken which was so moist and tender yet the skin was crispy. I kept tasting the mash she had because it was so good. I was a bit jealous of hers to be honest. For dessert I had a fantastic chocolate mouse which was rich without being too sweet and very light! One of the best I have ever had. My OH had the lemon tart which was very nice but I wouldn't say spectacular. I wouldn't say Con Gusto was without fault but they are very small very picky. The pasta, i felt, could have been a bit thinner. If you say something comes with a fruit coulis then I want more than a 3 spots. My risotto could have done with a larger amount of seafood. All very minor things so don't get me wrong. These are very minor very picky points. I am nothing if not exacting when it comes to food! Con Gusto is a brilliant restaurant with keen prices, fantastic food, brilliant staff, and a lovely cozy atmosphere. Anywhere in London would be lucky to have a restaurant as good as this one and I certainly feel lucky to have it close by. I will without doubt be back and I urge you to go give it a try because I think you will love it, and it deserves to be a success and you too will be back again once you go. Highly recommended.

Great food, one if the nicest places to eat in Woolwich. Every course was as good or better than the last. They've done an amazing job with such a small space.

Lovely intimate place with large selection of wine. Home made pasta was amazing, but do not skip starters because they are even better. The best review would be the silence at our table and occasional head nod. Also I wanted to take more pictures, but I couldn't stop eating to do so.
