Super tasty breakfasts, if you're in town and looking for a super delicious breakfast come here. Getting a good flat white coffee, sitting in an eclectic spot and eating a wholesome (or not so wholesome) breakfast is a great way to spend an hour in the morning.

A nice welcoming place, and one of the few where you can get something decent to eat at 10.30 pm. The food we ordered was fairly bland, but the service was lovely - friendly, and they let us sit around till they literally had to lock up :) one odd thing - you can order beer by the bottle, or by a half pint or a 2 pint. not a pint. not sure why...

Nice interior. Friendly atmosphere. Love the Vegetarian breakfast - 2 perfectly poached eggs, red pepper humous, guac on sour dough toast drizzled with sweet chilli sauce. With a green goddess smoothie you're sorted!

Bill’s has a great friendly atmosphere and you could easily spend the day sitting there drinking amazing coffee and having a good chat.

One of my favourite things about Bill’s is the really quirky interior; candles on the table, blackboards with the menu written in chalk and far too many things on the wall to be distracted by. If you are in for breakfast or brunch and have a sweet tooth then definitely try the blueberry and buttermilk pancakes which are really nice. For an evening meal the pork ribs or burgers are also really nice.

The staff are really nice, attentive but leave you to sit and chat once you are finished without ever rushing you. The prices are all quite reasonable for a restaurant in such a central location.

Being an Australian from Melbourne, I love good coffee. After nearly 6 weeks of travelling around Europe drinking cups of something that resembles dirt water, I made it my mission to find 'good coffee' in London. I stumbled across Bill's and was 100% satisfied.

My cappuccino was delicious and exactly what I needed to satisfy my good coffee cravings.

I also had the halloumi and couscous salad, which was the perfect small lunch.
Anything with pomegranate is a winner in my books! Will definitely head back here again!

Bill's has a really good atmosphere this lunchtime.. Laid back but not lazy, friendly staff and a reasonable wait on the food. I had the battered cod with skinny fries - very nice - with tartar sauce and some disappointing mushy peas - a little too cold and quite bland. My friends had a haloumi &houmous burger with fries and a plate of the ribs. All good :-). A couple of little things... There was no plate provided for the rather large amount of bones generated by the ribs... And just the single paper napkin each, already on the table, was not much to deal with what is essentially a very messy dish to eat. These are only minor details though... The experience was a good one and I would certainly go there again.

Well run and brilliantly managed by Sylvia - staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is to much trouble and this creates a fun and relaxed environment to wine and dine

Bills menu covers all tastes and the range of confectionary and preserves add a great twist

If you have clients to entertain I recommend the establishment highly as great place to break bread and crack ice

To my delight, R recently insisted we do afternoon tea. It had been quite a while since she and I had sat down over pots of tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes, and we were very overdue for this.

I’m a little on the skint side at the moment so asked her to find us somewhere cheap. “Already done!” she said, and the next thing we were headed to Covent Garden where Bill’s Wellington Street branch now do a very good value afternoon tea.

We’re both big fans of Bill’s. I make absolutely no secret of that. Their food is stuff that I like to enjoy at home, I always find their service really friendly and chatty (but not fake) and you’re not going to break the bank by having the occasional meal there. The new-ish Wellington Street branch is deceptively large inside so we were able to loudly gossip in a nice comfy booth without getting any funny looks.

Anyway, you want to know about their afternoon tea. What’s the deal you ask?

For £9.95 (yes, you read that right), you can get a large pot of tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes. For £12.95 you can forgo the tea and have Bill’s Hedgerow Fizz instead. We ended up going for the latter option adding on a pot of tea at the halfway through our afternoon.

We were very impressed with this. The scones were light and fluffy with really nice jam & clotted Devonshire cream, the sandwiches were great and we thoroughly enjoyed the sweet treats at the end, my favourite being a very moreish lemon meringue tart.

Needless to say, at this price for such lovely food, I fear that we may become regulars…

Bill’s Wellington Street branch can be found at 21 Wellington Street, Covent Garden WC2E 7DN but it is my understanding that most of their branches do afternoon tea.

A beautiful eatery tucked away off the beaten track. We were served by the lovely Bella for a brunch meal. The food was so delicious - the freshness of the ingredients, the taste and textures, the portion sizes all absolutely perfect. The restaurant itself is rusticly decorated so creates a wonderful ambience. Prices are so reasonable, especially for Central London. A lovely find on our way to an art exhibition at Somerset House. We didn't book but they were able to accommodate us straight away, which was lovely. We will definitely go again.

Had been wanting a steak all day and found Bills by chance, after seeing the menu decided on the Bills Big Brunch instead, so glad I did. Staff and service was fantastic. Food arrived really fast. Great value for money and tasted awesome. Girlfriend had one of the salads which she loved. 100% recommend going here

Went in the week after work for food and drinks at Bill's in Covent Garden. Excellent customer service, the lady who served us was very friendly and attentive. Menu was available for gluten-free with plenty to choose from, and there were lots of plant-based options. Both the salads and the cocktails were delicious. We had the Hippy Bowl with chicken on the side and the Santorini Salad. Both were very filling and full of flavour. I would definitely return to try more of the menu. I would recommend this restaurant as a great place to get together with friends. Vibrant atmosphere, great for dinner, and a few drinks at the end of the day.

Had such a lovely time at Bills last Friday evening. It’s my dogs birthday this month, turning 9! Our servers (2, a lovely lady and a fantastic young man who I believe was called Kristos?) They went above and beyond for us. Even humouring our request for a birthday candle in the doggy ice cream for my dog (they also joined in singing happy birthday to her). I really enjoyed my burger (so much so that we went to Bills in marybelone the very next day with other friends to try some of the other dishes). I’ll attach pics from both restaurants, day two was with another doggy friend! The Schwarma on day two was fantastic. Much better food than your usual chain restaurant, and super friendly service.

Bills Covenant Garden is a hidden gem in the heart of London. With its cozy and inviting ambiance, it offers a delightful dining experience. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the eggs Benedict and avocado toast. The perfectly poached eggs atop a bed of creamy avocado on a toasted slice of artisan bread is a match made in culinary heaven. The combination of flavors and textures is simply divine. Each bite is a burst of creamy richness complemented by the subtle crunch of the toast. The attention to detail in every ingredient and the exquisite presentation make this dish an absolute must-try. Bills Covenant Garden is a true haven for breakfast lovers and food enthusiasts alike.

What a great find. We were strolling and looking for a late nite bite, and Bill’s just drew us in. The atmosphere is pleasant, our waiter George was very attentive and friendly. The food was really good, I had the Nduja & Burrata Meatballs, and my wife had the Chicken Shwarma, unfortunately the chicken was very well done. All in all, very pleasant spot tucked away from the crowd.

Amazing restaurant in Covent garden, Ldn🇬🇧 The location of the restaurant is amazing, we had a table outside on the terrace, very cosy and calm, we choose to have a brunch, the dishes are amazingly presented and taste even better than what they look like. The variety of cocktails and drink they have is also great (less bears available though) although, I do think it is a bit overpriced and the service charge is quite high.

I am a trained scientist, and I have never been served anything which I had to use lab equipment to eat before. First time for everything, and my burger came with a Pasteur pipette filled with bourbon, that I injected into the bun, as that seemed the right thing to do. The burger was delicious, as were the fries on the side. The toilets upstairs were nice, with green tiling, but they seemed a little dark. There was a bit of art on the wall upstairs, depicting a pigeon, which really bumps this place up to five stars.

Beautiful place, nice waiters and very tasty food. I ordered the eggs benedict with salmon and potatoes with my friend. They were delicious. My other two friends had the eggs Benedicts with avocado and pancakes with fruit. Yummy everything. For sure we’ll repeat!

We had dinner at Bills then came back for breakfast the next day. Booking essential in the evening. Not so for breakfast. I am lactose intolerant and they were wonderful. You can scan and it gives you a menu with allergy info. We both had burgers. Tasty and very hot chips. Breakfast we both asked for hot plates and they were cracking hot on arrival. Our lovely server Paulina looked after us beautifully. Would DEFINATELY use Bills again
