This place was by far the best! From the starters to the wine and champagne selection and everything in between, nothing says fine dinning then the archduke
Was walking down bank and spotted this place on the corner and decided to eat dinner here with my friend and it was a good find. The jazz music band playing while you eat in a rustic setting if seated by the window watching the world go by. The food was lovely and so we're the cocktails. I ordered the spring roast chicken with mash & green beans an the bacon an mushroom sauce. Good portion sizes also..would definitely recommend coming here and I would come again.
Good jazz band; creates an open and honest vibe. The steak was a good choice on the menu. Recommend restaurant for a business dinner or informal drink.
This steak house has probably everything that a good restaurant can provide.
The location is absolutely central and it is quite easy to find it walking from Waterloo tube station. I went there once with a friend and we both were quite satisfied with everything.
I ordered bone steak which was served on a wooden plate, with some decorations and chips on a side. I should admit this was one of the best steaks I had ever had. We spent about £40 with drinks which was quite affordable.
The ambiance is amazing, a piano and live band, the atmosphere in the restaurant becomes even more vibrant. The service is lovely as everyone is quite pleasant and quick with orders.

I'm really surprised that the Archduke has such a low score! When I visited, both my Mother and I had fabulous meals. My burger was one of the best I've ever eaten. The meat was cooked perfectly to my liking, and the chips were skinny and soft. I hold this burger as the golden standard, against which to measure all other burgers!
Also I really liked the atmosphere inside, there was a guy playing the piano as you walked in and the whole bar just seemed to have a good vibe about it.
Fabulous location if you're visiting the South Bank Centre.
This is by far one of our favourite places for drinks! Great atmosphere & a huge variety of cocktails - fantastic service too!

Atmosphere is great, service was a little slow but were very nice. Caesar salad was excellent as was the apple pudding.

Lovely bar which feels like it's on the New York skyline rather than street level by Waterloo. The staff were amazing and the service was excellent. The live jazz band (the Eliana Veinberga Quartet) were phenomenal and created an amazing vibe. I could happily spend every evening here!
Had a fantastic evening there on Thursday 2nd Nov. The staff were very friendly, and our waitress checked we were not in a rush for a show at the Southbank. The steak was one of the best I've had in ages. Great service, would recommend.
Warm welcome, professional staff and excellent food ( I agreed with my friend when he said that was one of the best steaks he ever had). I asked to edit our drinks and they delivered us what we were looking for (I really appreciate it, and I praise the patience of our waitress 🤝). Such an atmosphere.. and good prices! I was quite surprised when we got the bill! Definitely I will come back and I will bring more friends. Thanks guys!

A perfect spot for a wedding anniversary! The food was amazing! The jazz was amazing! The service was amazing! And the ambience, amazing! We enjoyed listening to the sound of the trains overhead while enjoying our cocktails and dinner. I highly recommend checking this place out
We dined in the restaurant last night & we couldn't fault it, the staff including all waiting & door staff were impeccable & went out of their way to make it a special evening. The live music & food was top quality & we highly recommend this venue for a wonderful relaxed evening!! Well done Archduke staff 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
