Probably my best pizza experience in London, these giant pizza's are just simply a people pleaser. Who doesn't love pizza? Service was really good, always managing to fit a small group into a crowded restaurant. Pizza flavours are interesting - some work really well, others are a bit odd.

Same quality pizzas as the other ones, same variety. Nice pizza, nice food, good prices for the quantity of the pizza served, however the price of one slice i think it’s high.
The negative part of the experience was sitting outside during the night and there was no light. But i think that might have been a malfunction

Oh my Lordy, what a massive pizza. We ordered half n half marghertia and something with pork and greens. The crust was extra crispy how I like it, and was like it had been cooked on salt, mm mm mmmm! The only downside was the pizza wheel provided to cut the pizza was very wobbly/blunt.

Yum! Prosecco on tap! Service is great! Excellent spot for work lunch and bonding. Honestly the top three pizzas on the menu are also the best tasting. The pumpkin seed, ricotta and chilli is by far worlds apart and I tried 4 this lunch... could have eaten a whole one.

Great pizza and lovely atmosphere. Got a table by the bar, and the service was as good as can be. The downside is its remote location, but you know that going in...

This is without a doubt one of my favourite pizza restaurants in London. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been here. When the first one opened in Neal’s Yard (Covent Garden) I dined here four times in three weeks – each time using it as an excuse to introduce new friends to the 20 inch pizzas. Word spread quickly and it became nearly impossible to get a table here at peak times. The demand for Homeslice’s famous pizzas and the teams hard work allowed it grow from a successful food stall to having three restaurants in prime central London locations. Happy days!

Popped in as I've heard about this and Guerilla being the best newcomers to London's well-populated pizza scene.

Like burger restaurants, the number of pizza places has grown hugely over the last couple of years and inevitably brands will have to come up with something a little different to stand out. Homeslice does this very well with large pizzas and very interesting flavours.

Wells St has a very relaxed atmosphere, simple unpretentious decor with friendly attentive staff. I was made to feel very welcome without the slightly over-pushy salesmanship you often get at central London venues. It felt very relaxing after rushing around all morning.

I was initially going to have a slice but there are only three on offer by the slice which is a tad disappointing if you want to be adventurous but only want a quick snack. Usually I'll have a magherita as a first-try but I couldn't resist trying the slow-cooked goat shoulder with savoy cabbage & sumac. The Oxtail & watercress/horseradish dressing seemed good as well so I ordered a full pizza with half-and-half.

The pizza is delicious! Both recipes were wonderfully flavoured, not overly powerful, alot of subtleness and depth. Clearly the recipes are well thought-out. The base is very tasty as is the tomato base sauce, so much so the I asked for a glass of the sauce to dip my crusts in (I hardly ever eat the crusts!). If you're hungry enough you can easily have almost a whole pizza to yourself, the base is quite thin so you can eat plenty without feeling bloated at the end. Having eaten a whole pizza to myself I didn't try dessert but they looked delicious.

I'd thoroughly recommend trying Homeslice if you fancy something a little different and a good well-executed pizza. I'll definitely be going back!

Pizzas come in many shapes and sizes. But the key to making a great pizza is using simple, great quality ingredients to achieve the best flavours. In our opinion, Homeslice does this well! What started off as a stall in street food markets in 2011, has now become a successful restaurant with three permanent fixtures.

Homeslice serves 20" pizzas - yes massive 20" pizzas!! Just one of these can fill up 2 - 3 people quite comfortably and will only cost you £20.00. You can choose two flavours on each pizza, or you can have one of the single slice options (a quarter of a 20" one) and costs £4.00 a slice.

Homeslice pizza is well known for their creative toppings and their huge portion size, they did not disappoint on both.We visited Homeslice as a trio this time and was recommended to order full 20" pizza and a single slice. Homeslice's menu changes so you'll order what's on their blackboard board that day. They'll have selections that will satisfy both vegetarians and meat lovers. Their creative topping, perfect pizza crust, generous portion with a great atmosphere is definitely something you must experience yourself.

Sometimes you find a group of friends so crazy that after you visit a restaurant, you have to think, ‘well, I guess I can never show my face there again’. That’s one quarter of the Boozy Bunch crew and some of my absolute favourite people to go to dinner with. They are raucous, crazy and downright damn photogenic.

This is fast becoming a lunchtime favourite, faves are the goat shoulder, the pepperoni and the brisket. Slightly risky though as the wine comes in magnums...

Having only visited Homeslice’s Covent Garden location once before, since opening their second home on Wells Street I’ve already managed to work my way through the entire menu. Why? Because it’s so good!

Go 50/50 on a 20 inch pizza or grab a slice of the Margherita, Salami or Mushroom to go. The Goat Shoulder with Savoy Cabbage & Sumac Yoghurt is my absolute fav, with the Pumpkin, Broccoli, Pecorino and Crispy Onions in second place. The Caprese is as fresh and juicy as any Caprese should be, scattered with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, red onion and basil.

Wine is delivered to the table in a magnum which is measured with a long wooden ruler so that once you’ve finished they know how much to charge you for. Arrive at midday to guarantee a table for lunch or be prepared to put your name and number down in the evening to secure a place at dinner.

A new branch of Homeslice opened in Fitzrovia a little while ago. The new restaurant is a lot bigger – it has a great location right by Oxford Street and a bar downstairs. This means the wait is no longer a drag, you can either drink by the bar or kill some time window shopping.. or actual shopping if that’s how you roll. It seems like a well kept secret so far though as we arrived at 7PM and there was still plenty of space. Upstairs follows the same cosy wooden interior as the original branch but with more comfortable seating.

I’m absolutely terrible when it comes to choosing my pizza. Most of the time I know what I want, how I want it and how I want it too arrive looking. Unfortunately I can’t always have it my way because every single pizza house and takeaway has their own twist and more often than not, a rather unusual way of serving it. Homeslice is a pizza restaurant which started life in 2011 on the London street food scene and has now just opened its second in the series of restaurants, this time on Wells Street in Fitzrovia. Before any new restaurant usually opens, a press release hits your inbox; “The Wells Street menu will maintain Homeslice’s original simplicity, offering a changing selection of 20” wood-fired pizzas available whole or by the slice, to eat in or takeaway, served alongside beer and Prosecco on tap and wine by the magnum with the addition of a seasonal cocktail menu served from the bar.” I was hooked, the words 20″ pizza and wine by the magnum had reeled me in through the doors. Who can resist the promise of food and drink in excess quantities? No one.

Former street food traders Homeslice Pizza recently opened their second permanent site on Wells Street in Fitzrovia, two years after launching in Neal's Yard. There's space for 70, plus some al fresco seating, meaning it's much easier to get a table at than the Covent Garden original. That said, you can always get takeaway if all else fails.

If you can, grab a seat in front of the pizza oven to watch the chefs at work, though beware, you won't have a great deal of room to eat! You can order any of the top three pizzas on the menu by the slice (£4 each), or you can go all out and get an enormous 20" pie for £20, with the option to go 50/50 on toppings. It's more than enough for two people, and you can pack it up if you don't manage it all.

Homeslice always has some interesting combos going on, and we were almost swayed by Goat Shoulder with Savoy Cabbage and Sumac Yoghurt and Mackerel, Broad Beans, Peas and Mint. Instead though we went full veggie, opting for half courgette and artichoke, half aubergine, cauliflower cheese, spinach and harissa. Both were delicious, though I'm not sure I'd have wanted many more rich slices of the latter.

London is spoilt for pizza choice at the moment (see Ben Norum's top picks in Evening Standard), and Homeslice's quirky creations are right up there with the best of them. I'm a big fan of the option to eat by the slice, and there aren't too many places that offer it - NY Fold and Voodoo Rays are your best bets elsewhere.

Homeslice's new site somewhat bizarrely also has a basement cocktail bar which was empty on our visit. Time will tell, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was an event space by the end of the year. For alternative booze nearby, grab a beer at the Draft House Charlotte Street before, and a cocktail at the World's Best Bar Artesian at The Langham afterwards. Sorted.

Wonderful place for the one who is craving for pizza. It come is very huge size, 20 inches! You can halve the plate for 2 faces, which I can say that all are good! Various type of drinks for your choice, but local beer on tap goes well with the pizza.

We stumbled upon this trendy little pizza joint when looking for somewhere to have a bite & thank goodness we did! When the waitress took our order I thought she said 12” but when a 20” arrived the side of the table we were very pleased! Table water is free of charge but they had great craft ales on too! Huge pizza oven is situated in the open kitchen & the topping combos are amazing. The toilets are quirky too with saloon doors. Be sure to leave a chalk message upon the wall. Will definitely be back!

Best pizza in London hands down! Great GREAT flavours and toppings and at a fair price. If cheese loaded and gimmicky Pizza Hut or papa Johns is your standard then you might be disappointed but trust me when I say THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA JOINT IN LONDON.

Good quality pizza, but my criticism would be that the mozzarella they put on the Margherita is too little. I guess this is how you cut your costs. :) Otherwise nice vibe and good service.

Really delicious pizzas with amazing topping combinations. They really are huge but like that the toppings go right to the edge rather than too much crust. We ordered 3 pizzas between 5 people for lunch which was about the right amount.

The pizza is the size of a bike wheel! Staff is friendly, you can see the way the pizza is made...it's a nice hip place. If you buy drinks, rather go for drafts than cocktails (they're good but sizes may be disappointing).

Really good pizza here! Really big portions too! I personally love the base as its thin and slightly burnt/ char'd. They do half and half pizzas or full it's perfect for big hungry groups. They also have a take away window if you do not fancy sitting in. The staff we had are super friendly and nice! Prices are reasonable for what you get too!

Largest-sized pizza I’ve ever seen. Delicious too. They sell individual slices too. Make sure to go with a friend. It’s more enjoyable that way.

Delicious pizza and great atmosphere! The 20" whole pizza is the perfect size for 2 people if you've got a decent appetite. If you're a fork and knife person you're out of luck... They have no cutlery at all! 🙂
