When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant had just opened and so it was pretty empty, but slowly filled up towards the end of our meal. Service was prompt and jokey, and we had a really hard time choosing what to eat- because everything on the menu sounded so, so tasty!
For starters, we opted for vegetarian samosas, which were served with mango chutney as well as a delicious mango dip. In my opinion, you can't really go wrong with samosas (unless they're super soggy) and these ones were exceptionally delicious, with a crispy outer layer and pillowy spiced vegetables bursting with flavour. The side salad was also a nice touch!
Next up: garlic naan , which was sprinkled with a garlic topping and cumin seeds. Whilst lovely, fluffy and fragrant on its own, the naan tasted even better with the butter chicken that we ordered (would highly recommend this dish).
We also ordered a vegetable biriyani, which came with its own vegetable curry sauce. I thought this was a pretty good deal as it was almost two whole dishes on its own! The biryani was delicately spiced and packed with potatoes, tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and raisins for a sweet kick.
Lastly, we had the tandoori fish. The fish was really succulent and fresh, though if you want to taste the char-grilled, spicy, smokey tandoori flavour you'll have to eat the skin too, otherwise it just tastes like a nicely grilled fish!
Overall it was a delicious meal in a comfortable setting and good service.
Great Indian restaurant! I haven’t had such good dinner in years! Waiters are very nice! Loved meeting the owner, he’s awesome! Give me a hug! 🤣

Hubby and I came here for dinner just the other day. We were lucky to get a spot outside; we didn't make a reservation, but I would recommend making one as the place was packed.
The service was quick, and helpful. Our server did help us with portion size; we would have definitely over ordered otherwise.
We ordered the arctic murg, shah jahan biryani, paneer makkhani, and the garlic naan. Our favorite was the biryani and the paneer. The arctic murg was a spicy version of the butter chicken. It was spicy and flavourful, but the chicken was a bit dry. The garlic naan here is thicker and more bread like then I prefer, I like my naan chewier. The biryani was super tasty and came with a side of vegetable curry. I'm usually not a big fan of lamb, but they did a good job with it, and it didn't taste super gamey. The paneer was a nice contrast to the spicy bitter chicken we had.
After finishing our meal, we were offered fresh mint tea on the house! It was a lovely way to end the evening. We enjoyed this place and will likely be back.
I would’ve taken more photos if we didn’t just dive into this incredibly delicious meal. Wow!! What a good experience at the gates of Hampstead Heath! If you like Indian food, Paradise should be on top of the list when you come to London. You may even spot a celebrity, like we did, dining next to you.
We came on a Saturday night and was so full. They told ys to wait and they gave us the best outside table. Everything was delicious !!!! The best chicken korma. I will definitely come back.
Out of the five restaurant options we had for Valentines, I’m overjoyed we picked Paradise! The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was impressively quick and , most importantly, the food was absolutely divine! Prices are extremely reasonable and the restaurant itself is comfortable and inviting. We’ll certainly be returning to try some of the specials and an ice cold kulfi !
Came for my girlfriends birthday by chance, and mainly to try the arctic monkeys dish, only to be incredibly wowed by both the impeccable service and accompanying food. Haven’t had such an enjoyable food experience in a very long time. Staff were observant and helpful, including a complimentary night cap from the manager! Will visit again.
Fantastic food, and the most attentive friendly service I’ve had for years. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel special. Even when you’re getting a takeaway. “Please have a seat and would you like a beer (on the house) while you wait? Amazing.
Absolutely amazing! We had an early dinner here yesterday as a group of 7 and everything was fantastic. Service was friendly, food was so, so delicious and the atmosphere was great too. The portions here were surprisingly huge and generous as well. Can't wait to come back.
A lovely Indian restaurant just next to the park. The stuff are very friendly, welcoming, and service is fast and professional. The food is good, delicious and well made. Prices are fair. Location is great, will recommend to have little walk at the park after the meal. I like the fact the owner is walking around and paying attention to the customers and providing nice service experience.

The greatest place to have Indian food. Great service incredibly nice food and fantastic drinks. You can pay by card or cash. Come here and you’ll be treated great!
