We were walking and wandering in Soho on a Sunday night undecided where to eat when we passed by Bella Italia and instantly were drawn within its doors. Lucky for us we didn't need any reservation and took seat next to the window. The atmosphere on the table was quite romantic with a candle lit and the ambience very rustic Italian(y).
I ordered a glass of Merlot which I enjoyed very much. As starters we ordered calamari - they were very good and we gulped it within minutes. We waited for our main dish- I, the salmon main platter whereas my sister customized her own pizza. The music is typical of your italian restaurant. The waiter was quite polite and engaging. Our food came within 25min of our order and I must say my salmon was succulent. I really licked the whole plate :) My sister really enjoyed her pizza and devoured it as well. We ordered some dessert- Tiramisu for her (she loved it) and vanilla cheesecake for me (a mistake ordering an american dessert in an italian place!).
Overall I loved my dinner and the ambience and the buzz i got from the wine. It was an enjoyable evening and we hope to repeat it when we are back to town.
Very much recommended

It was 9:45 in the night on Saturday and we were still in SOHO in London. Looked at this place. We were lucky that we got a table without a reservation.
Ordered a merlot. Queen margarita Roma and Pollo picante. The ambience is nice n cozy. Some parts of the restaurant is a bit congested. The pizza had a great n fine crust and loved the fact that it was not rubbery as I have eaten in some places. The cheese on the pizza was so fresh that it melted in the mouth.
The best part was the desserts. We ordered the shot glass dessert and a mean joe god father. The shot glass ones came in 5 different small sized desserts. Overall, an amazing experience.
I went to this place years back and had their Cannelloni Ricotta which I had been craving since then. So since I am back in the UK I was so excited to have them again. Unfortunately they have altered the recipe a bit by adding less sauce but they were delicious nevertheless. I also tried their pizza for the first time and honestly did not expect much but it was so good! I had their pizza with 4 different types of vegetables and if you can make artichokes taste good to me, then you've won. The dough was also the perfect amount of chewiness as, in my opinion, what makes a pizza is a dough.
Overall, I wasn't too keen on going to Bella Italia because most chain Italian restaurants lack on quality but it truly was a delicious experience! I do hope to go back to try their dessert selection because it looked so inviting.
This restaurant is a chain but you would never know. The food is well priced and very well done. It's fast and tasty and had lots of healthy options.
Good sized Italian restaurant set across a split level. We had booked a table for six and was celebrating a couple of birthdays. The staff were super friendly and actually gave us some free desserts (after we had devoured our three course meals). Full is an understatement, but a lovely gesture. Food was well cooked and portions fair for the price. Great little spot.
The best Italian food I’ve had in London in ages! Absolutely amazing atmosphere, very welcoming stuff and classy interior.
Pizza with Truffle oil is my new favourite!
Went here on a whim whilst visiting London. The staff were good and polite. Restaurant was very quiet, only 2 or 3 tables used. I ordered garlic doughballs with mozzarella for starters, pepperoni pizza for main and gelato for dessert. 3 courses for £20.95. I also had a peroni reserve and a pint of draught becks. Yes I was hungry. The food was served quickly and tasted lovely. Just how I like it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the waitress was quite assertive about the optional 15% tip. I was using a voucher which had enough for 10% and as I was not given service that was above and beyond I left it at that. She was not impressed. But I would definitely go there again.
I’m visiting London and vegan. I am eating the best meal I’ve had abroad. Vegan spaghetti and meatballs and a delicious vegan salad. I got take away and it was pipping hot and so good. The salad had so many things in it !! I’m in heaven. Ty BI soho/picadilly.
Right in the middle of London. Had the set menu for two courses for £17. Tasty and filling for the price. Maybe not worth it if the food wasn't on the set menu. Staff were friendly and relatively efficient.
Very nice restaurant in a good location, very kind helpful staff, pleasant to be around. Food didn’t take long and it was tasty. Not cheap but reasonable. Good selection. Toilet available however not buggy or wheelchair friendly as it’s downstairs- a long staircase. There are baby changing facilities in the ladies toilets. Children are welcome, they have tasty children’s menu. Near Piccadilly underground station, 7 min from it. Close to many theatres. Recommended.
I went here recently with family. We had a lovely time. We had some questions in regards to allergies, chef paulo came out and answered them all for us. He even recommended a few items from the menu, which we tried and were delicious. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone.
From the moment we arrived the staff were great. It was super busy and noisy yet a lovely quiet table was found for us where we received excellent customer service from efficient friendy waitress. Highly recommend.
Good food with great service. The set menu is great value too. We visited on a busy Saturday evening and didn't have to wait too long for a table. Only criticism, there was too much cocoa on the top of the tiramisu but other than that it tasted great.
The lasagne and the pizza we ordered (sun-dried tomatoe, basil etc.) were amazing and oh so cheesy, however I wasn't crazy about the pollo pasta I ordered with a tomato sauce and prosciutto.
