This review is after our 3rd visit to Hotaru. Every time we cannot understand how quiet the restaurant is because the food is fantastic.
The servers are always very friendly, attentive and smiley.

An impressive Japanese restaurant. The sashimi was fresh and tasty.
The service was excellent and the environment was comfortable. We had a joyful time here!
Visited a few years ago and were glad to see it a bit busier this time. The food is amazing and they have asahi on tap. I would eat the miso pork belly every day if I could and we ordered more karage chicken as a dessert.
Cant get enough of this place !!! One of the most Authentic JAPANESE RESTAURANTS in london ! If i was to live there ill go everyday without doubt.

Came for lunch on a Friday and it was not very busy. I appreciate the good service to us during our dining. I really loved the chicken teriyaki bento that I ordered and they also gave us free miso soup! Fairly big portions! I will come back if I ever visit this area again.

The crispy roll sushi was really yummy. Along with the seafood balls. Seaweed salad was very flavorful.
They have a huge menu so will need to check it out again.

We had a great time at Hotaru and were able to get a seat on a Sunday without a reservation. There is an extensive menu with not just sushi available but also other hot meals like katsu curry and noodles. There are a couple of good lunch deals with an app and a main at £10 and £13.
