💎 Hidden Gem 💎 This review is after our 3rd visit to Hotaru. Every time we cannot understand how quiet the restaurant is because the food is fantastic. The servers are always very friendly, attentive and smiley. Our favourites dishes so far are : Spicy Edamame Agedashi Tofu Miso Pork Belly Kataifi Prawns We can't wait to visit again!

Visited a few years ago and were glad to see it a bit busier this time. The food is amazing and they have asahi on tap. I would eat the miso pork belly every day if I could and we ordered more karage chicken as a dessert.

Cant get enough of this place !!! One of the most Authentic JAPANESE RESTAURANTS in london ! If i was to live there ill go everyday without doubt. Very clean and tidy. Food is beyond delicious ! EEL was heaaaaven ! The mixed sashimi balls was fantastic Service was lovely ! The chef was so sweet and welcoming.

Came for lunch on a Friday and it was not very busy. I appreciate the good service to us during our dining. I really loved the chicken teriyaki bento that I ordered and they also gave us free miso soup! Fairly big portions! I will come back if I ever visit this area again.

First time there. Cute restaurant and delicious food. Good service. The crispy roll sushi was really yummy. Along with the seafood balls. Seaweed salad was very flavorful. They have a huge menu so will need to check it out again.

Great dining experience! Delicious food and excellent service. Tempura shrimp is highly recommended! All the food I ordered were in a high standard!

We had a great time at Hotaru and were able to get a seat on a Sunday without a reservation. There is an extensive menu with not just sushi available but also other hot meals like katsu curry and noodles. There are a couple of good lunch deals with an app and a main at £10 and £13. There is a large variety of very fresh and delicious maki, sashimi, and nigiri. The service was great and very kind! I can see why this place has a great rating. There is a 10% service charge here.

Nice little place with friendly service. The lunch menus are good value. The bento box was great and my husbands miso pork was yum! Don’t forget you get free miso soup too! 🫶

I went to this restaurant after reading the reviews. We went on a Saturday lunch with my wife and 3yr old daughter. Overall it was great, thank you! The staff were superb and the food could not be faulted!The spicy squid was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten!! Will definitely be going back! Thank you!
