Had one of best diners in here. Lovely place, good dim lights. Starters was amazing. Won't even mention how good the food was. But that cheeseboard, yumm!
Stopped by last night for an unplanned mid-week treat. Lovely grub. The Duck followd by rhubarb crumble & custard particularly good. Good to see the place was pack by 7pm
Great improvement. Most of my family and I had the homemade beef burger with mature cheddar, onion jam and fries which was excellent and good value at £8.50. My father in law said it was probably the best burger he'd ever had! My 5 year old daughter had the kids meal which was bread crumbed chicken strips, fries and salad which was tender and not at all dry. It comes with fruit juice and ice cream for afters and is an absolute bargain at £5.00. The service was also very good. Cheerful and friendly. The interior is much Improved it could easily the decor of a Soho boutique hotel. A great asset to the area. I'm looking forward to trying the dinner menu.
Great atmnosphere, friendly staff. Fresh food made to a good standard and well presented. Nice selection to suit all tastes. Would say a little overpriced though for what it is. Expect to pay £25-30 for a 3 course meal with a drink or two per person.
As far as I'm concerned, I love going to Eat17 for week end lunches. I like the vibe and the atmosphere of the restaurant (although it seems to become a meeting place for parents with their kids on week ends). The menu was innovative (contemporary British cuisine: I had a tasty venison pie) and their drink selection is not bad.
went there with my wife. food was top notch and a lovely unique surrounding and great service. I had a steak that was cooked perfectly. hope to go again soon. lovely to have such a brilliant restaurant So close to home
Delicious meal out for a weekend lunch at Eat 17, everything we ordered was delicious and the staff were friendly. The miso cod with the aubergine was so good, and the pea risotto was one of the best risottos I've had and was so silky. We will definitely return
Almost an exemplar neighbourhood bistro. Has a menu of imaginative dishes alongside excellent standards for steak, salads and the like. Extensive seating inside, as well as on the pavement and in a courtyard at the back. Wi-Fi doesn’t seem to work.
First time eating at Eat 17. Very friendly staff and amazing food. I had the Pancakes and Bacon which I recommend. Went back for dinner (the same day!) The chicken burger is great and also recommend this.
Popped in here just thinking we'd grab a drink and ice cream... Ended up having a full roast as seeing them go by was torture and very glad we did.
I had the chicken roast, which was succulent and bursting with flavour.
The staff were delightful, attentive without being in our face and informative.
Ended up popping to their ice cream stall and I'll be thinking about that cone for a while, super yummy!

Eat17 is a great place to have brunch, lunch or dinner. It gets busy so I recommend booking in advance. I’ve been here a few times, and each time it’s been consistently good. The prices are not the cheapest in the area but I think the atmosphere, taste and service make up for it. The cauliflower soup sand eat17 pilsner beer were standouts for me.
Very nice food but small portions and a limited menu. On a cute street.
This place is so nice, we ventured out from our NW6 local area to see what Walthamstow had to offer. Located in the “village”, an enclave of lovely little restaurants and shops only 3 minutes walk from the tube and the hustle and bustle. Our waitress Lauren was fantastic, she’s so kind and really listens to the customer, something rare these days. The menus offer something for everyone and we had burrita, bread, sirloin and mushroom ravioli. Very well executed to preference. The interior is a modern take on an Italian osteria, low ceilings and cozy. Top scores from us globetrotters!
Eat 17 is comprised of a warm, welcoming, upscale restaurant as well as a dedicated cafe space, and a market that offers an outstanding selection of items/inventory.
I was warmly greeted by a member of staff and then seated at a comfortable table. I ordered the avocado toast with bacon and poached eggs. The dish is beautifully presented and delicious - which my ‘before’, ‘during’ and ‘after’ pictures attest to.
Place you have to stop by, always full, serving good coffee and brunch you cannot skip. Vegan/vegeterian friendly, our veggie breakfast were the best, nice staff👍
Lovely atmosphere and staff is attentive and friendly. We had scallops, cabbage and a bowl with grains and tofu, which was absolutely delicious.
