The Step - London - Photo album

Nice place! Food is very tasty. The only reason why I don't give them 5 stars is because they don't do swaps. My friend cannot eat wheat and they could not swap his bread for any other thing. Apart from that, I liked it very much.
I have visited The step twice and had 3 courses on the first visit and loved everything I had. On the second visit I had the steak which was just average, the peppercorn sauce tasted salty but the chips saved the dish. The service was good but no one came to ask us if we wanted dessert before the ki
What a great little bar. Cosy and deeply rooted in the community - including the art work on the walls. And check out the tip collectors at the cashier ;-)
Absolutely amazing! The hostess is a beautiful human being and puts her heart into customer service, maybe she's the business owner, there were smiles all around not just from my friend David his wife Georgia and our group of friends but the birthday girl and all the other tables too. The band, Th
Little gem on Middelton Road. I've been there few times and everything on the brunch menu is very good. I highly recommend the eggs benedict
Lovely food. Great vibe on a sunday...so busy
Warm lively friendly atmosphere. Good food choice, cocktails too. We loved the classic gin martini served in the most elegant glass. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommended.
A very nice local brunch spot. Had a lovely vegetarian hash with a fried egg. Delicious and a nice vegetarian option. There aren't many healthy options for breakfast but otherwise a good place for brunch. Nice ambience too. Would go again.
Got an old school, retro feel to it. The Curious Brew is a great beer too! There is a new chef in town which is great as they are starting to introduce more vegan items on the menu. I have the celeriac meal which was OK, not much flavour to it. I think this place would benefit much much more from ad
The Step is a Gem of a local cafe serving delicious food for both Vegetarian and Carnivores. It's so welcoming one could easily while away a day here. Coffee is top notch as are the staff. You won't find a better brunch. Perfect for solo travellers as well as gatherings :)
Great little local café, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I've been there quite a few times, especially because their food is fab: I can vouch for most of the breakfast menu, the pies, the tarts... and I never expected to have of one my best steaks at The Step! Good gigs, too - the Soul Nights g
Have been here a couple of times in the last month, once for a light lunch and again last night on a last-minute whim to try the evening menu. A cosy and welcoming place, with really friendly and helpful staff. Looks tiny from the outside but is surprisingly large once inside. Good coffee, nice sele
This place is my local bar and it does both good food and drink. From breakfast, which is probably my most common meal there, through Sunday Roast and dinner which you can wash down with hot drinks, beer, wine or cocktails. They do have little music events there although I have been a rubbish local
Local place which punches way above its weight in every way. Friendly service, and for me at least I thought the food was excellent. Intimate cosy venue without being claustrophobic which isn't as easy to achieve as it sounds. Totally recommended.
Hands-down the best pub of all of Bounds Green / Bowest Park. We keep coming back here due to the lovely atmosphere and great food. The Sunday pub lunch is especially tasty. In summer-time, there is a nice outdoor seating area in the back of the pub. There are also many events and you can play board
Great little bar/restaurant. Full of character and pretty decent food. They have some nostalgic board games and a patio/garden to the rear which gets the sunlight. Probably the nicest place to go in the area if you fancy a drink or bite to eat somewhere that is a bit more cosy and calm.
The Step is not only a bright, welcoming cafe with personality it's becoming a real community hub in Myddleton Road. Matt and Nell are well known locally and all sorts of groups are using the cafe for meetings. There's a regular quiz night and comedy night and there will soon be lunchtime talks on L
The Step is a great little local gem on Myddleton Road. The food is really good quality, I especially like their brunch menu which they serve right up until 5pm at the weekends, meaning it doesn't matter how late you get up! They also have a really good monthly quiz and various music events througho
Our new favourite local. Friendly staff and a really nice place with a large outside area, they served a great bloody Mary, lovely coffee and an excellent full English. We'll be visiting again and highly recommend this place
