Maison Bertaux - London - Photo album

London's top classic cafe is a gem with a wide cake selection, wonderful staff, and an amazing owner. Despite its small size, it boasts a charming atmosphere. The cheesecake stands out, offering a unique and delightful taste. I highly recommend this place.
Sweet Soho treat - I desperately needed a sugar fix. After wandering around Soho looking at a few stores and reading google map reviews, I decided on going to Maison Bertaux. I sometimes find Soho quite overwhelming. Generally it's kind of pricey. I'd had take away from here years ago. I bought a c
Worth the trip and worth the hype. A lovely morning to sit out at a table along the sidewalk. Espresso drinks are great, traditional French pastries are hearty and flavorful, and they also have some unique dessert options. Oh, and don’t forget the scones that come with a huge portion of fresh butter
What a charming bakery! The smell was heavenly. The croissants were delicious paired with some hot coffee. The croissants were so large we were able to take half of them to go. Highly recommend!
I had a Paris Brest to take away, and I was pleasantly surprised - it was excellent, not too rich, not too buttery, just perfectly balanced. The selection of pastries was great as well, with many fruit-based options and equally nut/chocolate-heavy choices. However, hygiene is a big concern for me.
A long term regular, if not frequent stop off, especially if there’s a free seat outside. The coffee is excellent, pastries are good but really it’s the place itself that’s so special. It’s intrinsic to Soho, and my memories and continued enjoyment of the area. I love it.
Delicious sweets and scones. It would be better if the scones can be heated again before serving. Lovely cafe and the granny (staff) is very nice and friendly.
Lovely, quirky cafe int he heart of Soho. Scones were amazing, staff is absolutely cute and they serve a wide range of cakes and pastries. 🥰
If you were planning on visiting a bakery in London, this is it. Great variety! I haven't really seen this anywhere else. Fresh and delicious. And the owner was very kind. I had a bad day, crying, because of the comments in my direction from someone on the street, and the owner made me feel much bet
Though the building shows signs of age it adds to the experience. The tea and scones and pastry were delicious. Staff was personable and seemed happy to be there even on a busy day. We would absolutely come back again.
