Heard great things about this place a while ago, decided to check it out - definitely was not disappointed! Delicious food - great, well thought out menu. The service is excellent and they've got the loveliest staff - super friendly and genuine.
I would urge anyone withing travelling distance to go there. Great experience from start to finish. Warm, friendly welcome and quick service. the food was inventive and fabulous. The French toast with caramelised strawberries and ginger cream was simply sublime. The steak was incredible and the chicken was perfect. I would have licked my plate if I thought no one was looking. Left the cafe feeling wonderfully satisfied and relaxed. Will most definitely become a regular. Well done to everyone involved.
A lovely spot for breakfast, the all day menu boasts a range of sweet and savory dishes perfect for any time of day. I visited at lunch and had the poke bowl (vegan and gluten free) which was light, healthy and delicious. For breakfast, the kombucha smoothie bowl was a great choice for a summer morning.
The portions are not huge for these dishes but my dining companions ordering the souffle pancakes and beef brisket eggs had larger portions.
Great coffee and drinks, too, with non-dairy milks available.
Hiding in the streets of Shoreditch, the Friends of Ours is such a underrated brunch spot in London. This independent cafe specializes in brunch and also serves specialty coffee. A friend of mine was coming down to London. We were supposed to meet up for lunch but after a twist of events the night before, my friend’s out in London nice and early, and so we decided to catch up over brunch.
Yay to this amazing cafe! Myself, mum and my sister ordered from the menu, dad wanted a cheese and ham toaster. All 4 of us super happy! Service spot on and coffee & teas best we've had yet!
I had the best eggs benedict here. Pork belly benedict with brown butter hollandaise sauce. And the eggs were so good, you could tell from its color.

This is the right place to have a good time during a Sunday brunch. They offer a wide range of savoury healthy options, such as fruit and granola, avocado toast and egg sandwiches, as well as sweet food. They also offer cocktails along with coffee options. The service was fast and the staff welcoming. This place has tables inside and outside and it’s a good option to grab some food and then discover this part of London. Vegan and vegetarian options available.
AMAZING brunch at this address!!
The menu offers original combination that what we usually get for brunch: smoked aubergine, roasted fennel on toast with nduja… super nice to test new things!
Was super fresh.
Really recommend the place!
Great brunch, great service, come early. I loved the contrast of the salty spicy nduja on oh so good sourdough with the creamy leaks and poached eggs. The buckwheat waffle was interesting but being Canadian I feel like no brunch is brunch without maple syrup whether on a waffle or French toast (which the menu sadly lacks). That said the vegetarian options looked so good I was almost swayed.
Fantastic breakfast spot with plenty of outdoor seating. Coffee drinks were well done. The breakfast portions were large and filling. Sourdough was thick and crusty.
Loved our experience in this place! The food was really delicious and we loved it!
I had the lamb and my partner the foccacia. On my side it could be less greasy without the potatoes but it was nice!
We were there for the special event for Bong Bong Manila Canteen so we only tried their food. We liked pretty much all dishes. Our favourite was the poached prawns. Delicious dish. The beef with the egg yolks was also very good. We did not love the chicken broth but had it all anyway 😄
Came here with a friend on a Sunday for brunch. I had a feeling it would be very busy knowing how popular this place is so I arrived just before 11am and I was right as it was already fully seated inside with only a few spare seats left outside! I quickly sat down and waited for my friend to arrive before ordering food.
I ordered the crumpets with rhubard cream and thought it was good but wasn't outstanding. The crumpets were crispy and hot and went well with the fruit jam and rhubarb flavoured cream. The cappuccino was good, though I personally prefer it stronger so it was alright.
Service was great, both waitresses who served were friendly and lovely. The overall vibes were good too, could definitely tell it's a neighbourhood favourite seeing how popular it got after 12noon!
I had salmon, avocado, scrambled and a pea toast.
I really enjoyed the quality of the products. In particular, the smoked salmon was one of the very best on I tasted in a brunch. The other dishes tasted fresh too.
The food was rather good, especially the French toast, but I felt like the portion was a bit small for my appetite. I have to say that the drinks weren't their strong suit. The lemonade was quite disappointing, the coffee wasn't great either, and the orange juice isn’t freshly squeezed.
My local spot that I love very much. I have tried other cafe's in the area, but FOR is the best. The service is excellent as are the coffees. The menu changes seasonally, and all the food is delicious. Decent vegetarian options. Prices are manageable and portions are good for 1 or to share. Such an excellent option for brunch! Snag a seat outside in the sun if you can.
