Sushi Surprise - London - Photo album

Had the salmon and salmon roe over rice and also a miso soup. Tasty food. Fast service on a Saturday afternoon. Will come back for more.
Was a regular of this restaurant in 2016-2017. This restaurant is literally heaven for mid-range sushi lovers. Fish is fresh, quality ingredients, good service, and flavours you will definitely remember. However, I remember how prices kept rising then (two times in one year), I thought it was a bit
The staff is amazing! The miso soup is great! Best sushi I've had in London. Don't settle for the frozen sushi places. We arrived at 11:00AM and they were still making the rolls. FRESH!!! And the surprise...really wonderful. I also love how this place doesn't try to fill you up with rice. I
Really good sushi rolls for London. Ingredients actually tasted fresh and good quality! With a bit of twist on the flavour too, dash of citrus juice I think. Much better than Itsu and about the same price. The sign is confusing though, it should be 25% off the sushi not 25% for the sushi, thought I
Amazing quality. I think it’s one of the few places in London to get great quality sushi, but Sushi Surprise is probably the only one where you can get it at such a great price. I ❤️ getting the surprise sushi of the day for only £1 and I’m always eager to find out what that surprise 🍣 will be for t
I've been to quite a few sushi restaurants in London and I have to say after experiencing Sushi Surprise for the first time yesterday I think I've found my favourite. The quality is exceptional especially when you consider the affordable price. If you're a new customer they offer free miso soup and
I never write reviews, but this place is incredible. I had a mixed box delivered to my office and the quality of a very cheap, takeaway box was really getting up to the standards of the best sushi places in London. The nigiri reminded me of Yashin's (and I think one of the owners worked there?) suc
There needs to be more stars. Thanks so much for the amazing Sushi you delivered to our office yesterday evening. My colleagues loved the delivery and presentation. My only critique is for there to be a few more soy sauce bottles and dishes next time, which is a minor. Thanks for amazing food!
I have visited a few high end sushi places in London, but this place beats them all when it comes to the quality of sushi. The fish is tender, and fresh, the wasabi is home made and the rice is just perfect! The staff are friendly, and you can really tell when tasting the food that the chef is very
It's great little sushi place, kind of hidden away - but absolutely worth finding. In the area, it's the nicest sushi I've had that doesn't cost my entire months' pay. The menu is vast and there are so many veggie options (if you're that way inclined). The choices aren't boring either, they're very
We've ordered a small sharing platter (30 pieces) for home delivery. No points for presentation as the platter looked messy and some pieces were upside down. The quality of sushi was good but not amazing - comparable to other restaurants within this price range. Fish seemed fresh. The selection was
Robert is a friendly guy from Hungary who made his way in the world of Sushi. The products in these restaurants are absolutely FABULOUS, the fish is so fresh and nice it melts in your mouth, and the soups are tasty. The food in this restaurant is WAY BEYOND the modest (but cute and clean) look of it
Had the soft crab for lunch and as it was my first time. I got the surprise normally around £1 for free. It's not a cheap meal for just under a tenner but worth it as a treat once a month. Deep fried crab with sticky rice, avocado and embellishments. Super delicious and worth the money.
The best sushi in London! I have been to Tokyo a few times and every bite reminds me of the authentic foodie experience. The Katsu curry is so tasty. The sushi is fresh and the favours were amazing. You can not go wrong with what you order everything is delicious. The prices are really good too. N
Hidden gem, surprisingly good! Super-friendly staff that remember you when you return. Today's freebie surprise 'seared salmon with a garlic and truffle mayonnaise' simply melted in my mouth. Yum :) The food is always delicious, never been disappointed.
It's nothing like the cheap sushi you can buy at Wasabi/Itsu, yet it's a much better value for your money, due to the quality of their fresh sushi. (They do discounts on the over-chilled lunch items from the display on weekday afternoons from 5pm.) Order something fresh for dinner to get the best qu
