Good quality sushi via deliveroo. A nice selection of salmon, tuna and soft shell crab maki. In a world where its mostly heavy pizza and curries that are available for home delivery, its nice to have a healthy option for your lunch or dinner. Nothing beats going to a sushi bar but on lazy days, this will do.

The best sushi in London, must try the butter fish, thick and delicious . The staff are very welcoming and a very reasonable price. If you like sushi you must try this place. Well worth the travel
Very fresh sushi, very tasty and fair prices! The place is small though, so better go for a take-out. Can definitely recommend the Salmon selection and the Premium roll selection, great value for money!
Some of the best sushi I've ever tasted - fresh, gorgeous fish, inventive flavours and combinations. I left full, happy, and eager to return.
Had the salmon and salmon roe over rice and also a miso soup. Tasty food. Fast service on a Saturday afternoon. Will come back for more.
Was a regular of this restaurant in 2016-2017. This restaurant is literally heaven for mid-range sushi lovers. Fish is fresh, quality ingredients, good service, and flavours you will definitely remember. However, I remember how prices kept rising then (two times in one year), I thought it was a bit of a shame. Also, don't know about now, but they didn't accept cash then.
The staff is amazing! The miso soup is great! Best sushi I've had in London. Don't settle for the frozen sushi places. We arrived at 11:00AM and they were still making the rolls. FRESH!!! And the surprise...really wonderful. I also love how this place doesn't try to fill you up with rice. I will be back on my next trip into London...hopefully next week!
Really good sushi rolls for London. Ingredients actually tasted fresh and good quality! With a bit of twist on the flavour too, dash of citrus juice I think. Much better than Itsu and about the same price. The sign is confusing though, it should be 25% off the sushi not 25% for the sushi, thought I was getting a right bargain!
Amazing quality. I think it’s one of the few places in London to get great quality sushi, but Sushi Surprise is probably the only one where you can get it at such a great price. I ❤️ getting the surprise sushi of the day for only £1 and I’m always eager to find out what that surprise 🍣 will be for the day!
I've been to quite a few sushi restaurants in London and I have to say after experiencing Sushi Surprise for the first time yesterday I think I've found my favourite. The quality is exceptional especially when you consider the affordable price. If you're a new customer they offer free miso soup and a surprise with your order. The staff were very friendly and I'll definitely be back here again!!! I just hope they'll deliver to Bermondsey ;-)
I never write reviews, but this place is incredible.
I had a mixed box delivered to my office and the quality of a very cheap, takeaway box was really getting up to the standards of the best sushi places in London. The nigiri reminded me of Yashin's (and I think one of the owners worked there?) such was the quality, so it is really impressive. Genuinely, I'm moving to the area and having this place near the new place is a big plus point.
There needs to be more stars. Thanks so much for the amazing Sushi you delivered to our office yesterday evening. My colleagues loved the delivery and presentation. My only critique is for there to be a few more soy sauce bottles and dishes next time, which is a minor.

I have visited a few high end sushi places in London, but this place beats them all when it comes to the quality of sushi. The fish is tender, and fresh, the wasabi is home made and the rice is just perfect! The staff are friendly, and you can really tell when tasting the food that the chef is very passionate about sushi!
It's great little sushi place, kind of hidden away - but absolutely worth finding. In the area, it's the nicest sushi I've had that doesn't cost my entire months' pay.
The menu is vast and there are so many veggie options (if you're that way inclined). The choices aren't boring either, they're very imaginative and tasty too.
For the rest of us, you should know that the fish is yummy. I had salmon and tuna, both were very good quality. The salmon just melted in my mouth (YUMMMM).
The surprise sushi is a great bit of fun too. If it's your first time, make it known and you will get a free miso soup and surprise sushi (they can do a veggie surprise sushi - just let them know).
