Osteria Antica Bologna - London - Photo album

Went there with no expectations and I ended up having the best Italian meal in London during our three week holiday. If you’re looking for a real Italian experience in terms of food and service without the exuberant prices in central London, this is the perfect place.
As always: the fish was fresh, the pasta enchantingly hearty and the desserts made everyone do a double take. They have tastes and portion sizes for any sort of craving, the staff is consistently open and friendly. I’d say pick your time to come wisely - a balmy Friday night will be popular and live
I stopped with some friends at Osteria Antica Bologna and I fell in love with the place and the lovely staff. We ordered some starters (fried zucchini highly recommended) which brought me back to Italy straightaway. All the ingredients are fresh and well cooked! The main were absolutely wonderful. S
It's been a while since last time a restaurant wowed me. Very busy place, so booking a table is highly recommended. Service is as good and friendly as you could ever imagine. I had the best starter I've ever had, fried zucchini which was absolutely delicious. It did not come with any sauce to dip
Fantastic vegetarian starters! Panelle, a Sicilian street food dish made from chickpea flour formed into fritters and pan fried, and in this case, with caraway seeds - superb. The courgette fritters were just too good to even get on the plate as we grabbed them from the serving dish. My crab linguin
First class Italian cuisine, enjoyed a veal starter and monkfish main with a great wine list to boot. Superb service. Highly recommend.
We had dinner here last night and I can't remember the last time I had such tasty pasta - simple but bursting with flavour (it was the pea and broad bean pappardelle). My partner's wild boar ragu was equally tasty. The starters were excellent - we shared some bruscetta and arancini balls - and the t
We had such an excellent lunch today, so high praise to the chef. The seared octopus was delicious, the spaghetti with seafood was very tasty, the zucchini fritters were light and crispy and the panacota was the perfect desert. The place is small, but full of warmth and the staff very friendly super
We stumbled across Antiica Bologna by chance and so glad that we did. It's a small place that was v busy so we were lucky to get a table. The food was unreal, and the specials were absolutely delicious. We had octopus carpaccio and calamari for starter, seafood spaghetti and pink duck breast for ma
Great restaurant! Comfy space, small but cute, I felt at ease! Friendly and very attentive staff! Equally important, my linguine with crab was scrumptious! I could not recommend it more.
Had a lovely meal. Tagliatelle was very good. Ravioli were different and tasty. Lemon/lime tart was outstanding! Seemed quite overpriced though.
Having lived in Clapham for 15 years I am disappointed it has taken us this long to find this restaurant. It was recommended by 2 separate locals so we had to try it out. The meal was delicious and we will be going back there very soon. Very authentic Italian. Highly recommend.
Best italian spot you can find in Chiavari. Their fried squid and seafood pasta is to die for. Great selection of wines too. This place is a 5/5 for me - great hostess, warm vibe and very reasonable for the quality of the food served. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends.
I recently visited Antica Osteria Bologna with my friends. I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this place. They offer the best italian food that is absolutely clean and hygienic and also their staff is really polite. I really enjoyed the grilled octopus, and the tiramisu is
Had one of the best dining experiences in London here. All of the food and service is absolutely top class and reasonably priced. We pushed the boat out and had the T-Bone steak for two which I have to say was one of the best steaks in London I’ve eaten. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. It comes with
High quality food and authentic Italian tradition. Fish was fresh and tasty, pasta cooked at perfection. Location is quite small and can get very noisy but overall pleasant. Service is ok, owner was really nice and also left some home made biscuits for the table. Price was in line with quantity and
It is the perfect restaurant: delicious food, amazing service and a lovely atmosphere! The waiters were so friendly and helpful, and the food was the best Italian I have had!
