First had eaten here more than 25 years. Tried the gigantic fish and chips it was wonderful and couldn’t resist their chicken wings which was an old time favourite. Did not disappoint
Great breakfast spot. We were looking for a breakfast stop near our hotel that would be less expensive than the hotel and found this place. We were not disappointed. Coffee was great (important to me), and I ordered the traditional english breakfast. The baked tomato was delicious, better than most I have had. There was a mushroom that was also very nice. You can’t go wrong with bacon and eggs. My colleague ordered the pancakes with bacon and enjoyed those too.
This one is probably one of the underrated places. Or maybe it’s popular for burgers. But believe me, this is far superior in Italian than its next door neighbour Ask Italian!! One of the good places for pizzas. We had almost all variety of pizza since we were 11 of us. But the Goat cheese and Salami pizza stand out. Amazing place and great service too. Ask Italian staff is too snobbish and slow. Here the people are friendly and helpful too.
One point less cause the Avocado toast had a huge worm sitting on the greens.

A nice restaurant for a leisure meal.
Starting off with chicken and chip then pizza's and finally an ice cream.
A perfect 2 course meal it was. With great setup ambiance and friendly staff this place makes this place worth a visit on a london holiday
Breakfast: they have a breakfast special which gets you two enterees for £10. The choices are not very varied thought. Atmostphere wise it was nice but the food was ok. Worth the money and a decent breakfast for the price. Might end up going there again.
My first British Fish n' chips. Certainly, found in every area in London, Garfunkel's has a unique appeal to it. I have a strong appreciation for places serving nice english breakfasts and Garfunkel's is a master at it. With a wide array of english breakfast options, I was sold and hooked onto this place in a jiffy. But what gave me a sweeter experience was the tempting spread of desserts. Can't wait to go there soon!!
This is my go to place for lunch for several reasons.
When you enter you are helped quickly by the staff. I've been here several times and the staff is always professional and quick to notice things.
The food is excellent and is prepared rather fast so you can enjoy within a few minutes after ordering.
With the lunch menu you can make use of free refills and that is an absolute deal-breaker for me as well.
All and all this place is certainly the place you must go to if you want to have an excellent lunch.
The food was reasonably priced and the service was good sadly the gents cubicle downstairs was flooded and unusable and I had to ask on a few occasions to used the disabled toilet as it was locked each time and as a person with a disability it wasn't nice that we weren't told the men's cubicle was unusable.
Also we were not told at first what dishes were off the menu but this was just a small server error but otherwise our server was fantastic and the food was quick and looked very nice.
We had just had the breakfast burger served by Tony and really enjoyed it. It's our second time here and we'll definitely be back tomorrow!
Friendly staff and good bacon and maple syrup pancake breakfast. Prices were reasonable and service was quick.
I didn't find it as tasty as other garfunkel's locations but it's not bad and the waiter was nice and friendly. The kid's menu is pretty good and the jelly & ice-cream is delicious!
Brilliant and affordable breakfast. Took a bit to actually get my check to leave, but all in all still a nice experience. And only steps away from the tube

Great place, had an amazing chicken leek pie with mouth melting short crust pastry and beer from the tap to top it off. Pretty reasonable prices!

Decided to skip the hotel breakfast and walk across to this place.
We was seated immediately by. A very polite gentleman.
Ordered a veg English breakfast which consisted toast, grilled peppers, beans, muschroom, baby tomatoes, cubes of fried potatoes (amazing) with a choice of scrambled or fried egg.
The food was very tasty with top quality ingredients and served in good time. The price is very fair for what you get along with the atmosphere.
Drinks options available and the fresh orange juice is very refreshing.
I would return here again, very please with food, service, hygiene.
