Very trendy pub and restaurant. The Theatre above is great for a local venue and regularly hosts some fine performances for an enjoyable matinee or evening performance. Food above average, but not sure if it is worthy of the expense.

Had a really good evening here. The food was VERY good. We were a group of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meals. It was also a busy Saturday night, but the food came out in good time and was my burger was cooked to perfection, nice and pink in the middle. I had the mushroom croquettes to start and they were lovely also. We had a male waiter (think he was a scouser), he was brilliant. Remembered all of our orders off the top of his head. Really good service, really good food, and a really nice setting inside the pub. I don’t live locally, but I’d defo return if in the area again. 10/10!

Had such a beautiful Sunday experience! Great atmosphere, tasty food (I had the crab toast, beef roast and white chocolate tart and would recommend every dish!). Our server was Maggie and she was super friendly and attentive. Would return to the Gatehouse.

We were super impressed with the food here - I know it’s a small thing, but the tartare sauce was absolutely banging. One of the best meals we’ve had for a while, well worth coming.
Service was amazing, too. Massive credit to Maggie as our main waiting staff, she was super attentive, smiley and knowledgeable.

Nice pub with an amazing beer garden at the back to enjoy some drinks or a meal al fresco.
The food is delicious and the portions very generous, we really had a great time.

We enjoyed a gorgeous bite to eat here last Friday. The staff were incredibly tentative and found us a wonderful table in the garden for a family gathering.
Will definitely be back to try more of their delicious food here on offer. Even the small plates we shared were so tasty and filling!
Love the beer garden, more flowers around the place wouldn’t go amiss 🙌

Good local pub. Great customer service and nice food. Walked in without booking on a Sunday afternoon and were offered a table after a short wait.

I come back time and time again for the fish and chips here.
They also have an excellent selection of Spanish dishes and if I am not eating the fish and chips then it is the paella I am going for.
Get here early on a Sunday if you want to get a table for Sunday roast. There are seats by the main bar, in the restaurant area and also in the garden which is particularly nice in the summer.
Sometime a little too many screamy children but that’s not unsurprising given it’s a family pub.
Keep up the good work! Definitely a 5* railing.

Big pub right on the corner, in Highgate. Food is Spanish themed and so is unique in many ways. Of a very high quality and very creative too, loved all the desserts (we tried many)! The service was pleasant, they were attentive and patient. We had a nice seat outside partially in the sun, they had a huge indoor and decently sized outdoor space. Would visit again but it was priced on the higher end and not the most vegetarian choice/options overall. Not typical pub food but very good overall.
