Stokey Veg Vegan

This is a new restaurant and makes it straight to the top of my list of best vegan restaurants in London. I guess you could describe the concept as Modern Italian Tapas. I went with 11 others for a birthday celebration and had a pre starter, starter, and 3 main courses. Every time I took a bite of food someone on the table would wave a loaded fork in my face and say “you have to try this”.. which led to another course being ordered.. and another.. and another! I won’t bother recommending anything in particular because everything is excellent and between 12 of us on the table we tried it all! Im not really a dessert person but on this occasion I had two. The special Canoli wasn’t on the menu but was one of the best I’ve had outside of Sicily. Then I was offered a taste of someone’s tiramisu and had to order that too. I would go so far as to say it’s the best tiramisu I’ve had in London (with Signor Sassi in Knightsbridge close second best). Finally, the service is perfect. The restaurant was actually opened for us on a Monday which was very nice of them to do and the staff were charming and friendly all night. We’ll be back.

Superb food! Great service by the chef himself who offered recommendations with out pressure and was very friendly. The small and reasonably priced portions let you explore the menu and are all fantastic (all the ones I tried at least) And they serve one of the best vegan deserts I have ever tasted! Try the tiramisu! I really recommend this place to everyone, if you are vegan/vegetarian this is a no brainier, but if you aren't I'd still say definitely try it out! will be going again!

What a magical evening! Everything we tried from the menu was amazing. As a religious meat eater I can honestly say I did not expect the dishes to be so delicious as its veg. Absolutely loved everything about the dining experience here from the hostess to the wine! Daniel you have created something magical and your menu is out of this world. Will definately be going back to try your ever changing seasonal menus. You have made a believer out of a meat eater. Thank you for showing me the way.

Had a fantastic lunch! Fine dining style vegan and vegetarian food. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The pumpkin, sage dish was particularly fabulous. Check it out - great even for non vegans and veggies like me 😀 will definitely be back!

I went to Stokey Veg Vegan for my first anniversary with my partner, needless to say I really wanted it to be a great dining experience, and the place exceeded my hopes. The food is wonderful. Well presented, delicious, a menu that was so varied and unusual. Everything was delicious. In particular, the miso-glazed aubergine which was out of this world. What I liked even better was the service. I think the hart of good customer service is warmth, and that permeated everything. We were warmly greeted, chatted with, attentively taken care of. None of the staff seemed like they were 'on-shift'. When it comes to good service for me, after warmth comes knowledge. It is a bit off-putting at a restaurant when the staff can't answer basic questions about the food, but Stokey Veg Vegan really impressed me. Everyone we spoke to had a favourite dish, something to say about every item on the menu and could describe the food in objective and subjective terms, the wine too. It was clear that they loved their food and they were proud of what they do. Great dining experience. It didn't break the bank. Only £110 for two of us. 6 tapas dishes, a desert, and a nice bottle of wine. For the standard of everything I was expecting a third as much again. Gourmet vegetarian & vegan tapas cooked and served by people who clearly do it with pride, and rightly so. Well done SVV.
