I love this place, amazing food and service, feels very relaxing inside my only point yesterday when I was in was the music did not feel in line with the space / ambience that was being created by the furnishings, staff etc. It's my favourite place for a coffee and cream pan though.

There are 2 WA café in London, both are pretty central. Ambience is spacious and minimal. Take away is more sensible because difference of price is almost 1£. Staffs are friendly.

🍽Japanese souffle cheesecake: it was amazing, I like intense and soft cheesecakes. It is not including bottom cake like normal cheesecakes. It was 4.30£

Wa is a clean cafe with friendly service. I ordered a chocolate tart which was quite nice. It tasted a bit like a chocolate brownie with fresh cream topping

I was missing Japan a lot and then I noticed we just had WA around the corner. It looks like those patisseries you will find in Japan (with their view on western bakery) and guess what it's really delicious! We've tried 2 cakes, 1 chocolate one which felt like a brownie, so creamy inside but not too sweet and also a strawberry cake which felt so light and fresh. Coffee was pretty good too. I don't give it 5 starts because it's almost impossible to find a table. Service is really helpful, friendly and polite. Will be back as soon as I can

Good real Japanese pastry and tea. Usually we go for desserts after lunch in Ealing. Super friendly Japanese staff. Good hygiene and lighting wither you come for a date or just taking a coffee break. However, the place is very popular, and isn't big. So you may have to wait for awhile when is busy. Most time I can get a seat soon enough but sometimes I just order my favourite sesame cheese cakes to go. Highly recommended. (The whole cakes require 3 days to order one).

The only place in London where you can find real Japanese style patisserie and bread(soft, milky, filled etc). For people who like matcha, their matcha roll cake is so good !!!

After seeing so many yummy looking photos from friends and reviews on Zomato, I decided to go here with my friend for a cake brunch.

We're both cake lovers and we loved it here. If you go early, there so much to choose from. I once tried to go just before closing and they were almost sold out!

I had the chocolate cake slice, which had a crispy biscuit texture along with a rich, dark chocolate mousse that just melts in your mouth. I also had a fruity tea in a glass bottle, which was refreshing and not too sweet.

If I lived near Ealing, I think I would go everyday :)

Their cabinet display for cakes and fancy breads will make your mouth water. We couldn't get a table as they were a bit busy so had to do a takeaway instead. Their choux trio was out of this world. Heavenly choux pastry filled with sesame cream, green tea cream, and vanilla cream with red bean paste. Yum!

You'll often find me where there's any matcha dessert! So here I was at WA Cafe eager to try their matcha roll after travelling for over an hour to get to this cafe located in Ealing Broadway. Yes, what can I say.. that's how committed I am to eating anything matcha!! I'm also glad to report that the long and treacherous journey (not really that treacherous) was worth it! I think their matcha roll is the best I've had in London. It's soft, moist and everything you could wish for in a cake! My roll partnered with my matcha latte was the perfect combination for a lazy Saturday afternoon. I also ordered the raspberry and pistachio tart which was nice, but nothing compared to the roll.

I also like that WA Cafe serves savoury dishes (I noticed their Japanese curry bun was popular) so you can make a meal out of your visit.

Before venturing forth to this cafe I had to do a bit of digging online and I was pleasantly surprised.  I think WA cafe has one of the best looking websites that I have seen in recent memory.  The photographer in me admires their shots of their food and the foodie in me drools silently.  So I just had to check out to see if it was as good as it looked.

I have an addiction. Addicted to the green stuff, itâtte a healthy one I promise. You know all the health benefits I mentioned a zillion times on my site. Yes, matcha green tea is a healthy addiction. So I jumped all giddily when I saw WA Cafe, featured in Timeout and it was pure luck I had to go to Ealing for a house party on a Saturday.

The most “Japan” Japanese Cafe I’ve visited in the UK. All staff are Japanese or Japanese speaking local, totally no problem if you order in their language, definitely give me a feel of going back “home”. They sells different kinds of pastry like cakes and pan, also some sandwitches, all very authentic Japanese style. Their drinks are superb, from taste to presentation are top notch. The shop is spacious but only have a few tables which makes it a comfortable place to chill and relax, however, may be many people also thinks that way make they have a policy of only 2 hour dinning time.

As an ex-expat in Japan of 15 years, I have finally found a Truly authentic Japanese cafe with a wide selection of pastries, cakes and drinks in London! What a delight! Matcha tiramisu, pumpkin croquet and sen cha are fabulous! Yet to go through the full selection of Wa’s dishes, so will be coming back soon! The cafe gets very very busy, hope they can expand soon or somehow add more tables for more customers.

The coffee here is nice, although it may not be the absolute best I've had, it's definitely a great deal considering the price. The staff is simply amazing and very friendly. I also tried their sandwich, which, I must say, is outstanding, although it comes at a slightly higher price point.

🍞🍰 "Morning Delight at WA Cafe! 🌸🥐" 👋 Hey there, fellow foodies and coffee lovers! 🌟 Just had the most delightful morning at WA Cafe in Ealing. 🇯🇵☕️ If you're up for an unforgettable breakfast or afternoon tea experience, this place is a must-visit. (Melon pan) melon bread that was like a soft, heavenly hug on the inside and had that perfect crunch on the outside. 🍈😋 Seriously, it's like they turned a melon into a bread! And the Mont Blanc? 🍫✨, that was a work of art! Layers of chestnut goodness that melted in my mouth with every bite. The place itself is a blend of bakery and confectionery, where sophistication meets scrumptiousness. 🍰🥖 And while it might be a tad pricier compared to the usual joints, the quality of every bite totally justifies it. So, if you're ready to treat your taste buds to an adventure and your eyes to edible art, give WA Cafe a go. Trust me, it's like a one-way ticket to Tokyo's culinary wonders. 🛫🇯🇵

Came here on a recommendation and the cakes/pastries are amazing! We got the banana chocolate and strawberry short cake and both were so light and airy. Would love to try their other desserts too. I had the oat matcha latte but they also have a range of other specialty drinks too that sound great. A great little spot in the area!

It’s so nice to find places like this - where you are happy to spend your money. So far I’ve tried the Matcha roll and sesame cheesecake. Both are delicious. Cheesecake wasn’t my cup of tea but this one certainly is. Well done to the business. Your staff is very friendly too.

I had the pleasure of visiting this charming Japanese patisserie, and it was an absolute delight for my taste buds! The cakes here are heavenly, with delicate textures and perfectly balanced flavors that left me craving more. The patisserie offers a wide array of choices, from classic Japanese treats like matcha cheesecake and strawberry shortcake to more innovative creations. The prices at this patisserie are quite competitive, especially considering the quality of the cakes. It's a real treat to find such delicious desserts at such an affordable price point. The staff is friendly and helpful, readily to help you choose. In summary, this Japanese patisserie is a must-visit for dessert lovers looking for exquisite cakes at great prices. I can't wait to go back and indulge in more of their delightful creations!

Visited again this weekend- and still brilliant. Amazing Easter cakes and delicious chocolate & banana cake. I’ve never had anything apart from amazing cakes and patisserie from WA!
