A Mixed Experience at Zizzi Rating: ★★★★ I visited Zizzi, a restaurant I’ve always held in high regard, for last Friday Dinner. However, this time around, the experience was not quite up to the usual standard. The service was slower than expected, which was a bit disappointing. This is not typical of Zizzi, as they are known for their prompt and efficient service. Additionally, one of the staff (Male) member was not as friendly as we would have liked. The warm and welcoming atmosphere that we’ve come to associate with Zizzi felt somewhat diminished on this occasion. On a positive note, there was a new chef in the kitchen that day. While this brought about some changes in the dishes we ordered, it also introduced us to some new flavors. However, some of the dishes were not quite as we remembered from our previous visits. In conclusion, while this visit to Zizzi had its ups and downs, I believe that the restaurant still holds potential for a great dining experience. I look forward to seeing improvements in their service and consistency in their dishes during my next visit.

Despite the restaurant's bustling atmosphere and only having one chef, our dishes arrived on time and flawlessly prepared, showcasing the dedication to quality service. We indulged in the Rustica Meat Sofia and the Hot Smoked Salmon Carbonara, both of which were exquisite choices that showcased Zizzi's commitment to crafting dishes that leave a lasting impression. Conveniently located near St. Paul's Cathedral, Zizzi served as a fantastic pit stop during our day out. One ingenious tip is to have the menu readily accessible on your phone; the high-quality food photos help immensely when making the difficult decision of what to order. Zizzi has truly mastered the art of delivering both delicious cuisine and efficient service, ensuring that every visit is a memorable one. Whether you're seeking a sumptuous meal close to a London landmark or simply looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, Zizzi has you covered. Without a doubt, I'll be returning to explore more of their delectable offerings and enjoy their warm hospitality once again!

We popped in for some food after a day’s walking around. They served some free snacks but I felt it was left on the bar a bit longer. In general the food was ok, but very weird that 2 of 5 things I ordered, didn’t have the corresponding ingredients so they had to offer alternative things. And the seafood pasta still contained sand in the shells. But the meatballs were nice.
