Tudor Barn Eltham

Oh my what a day lucky enough to be invited to a Wedding at the Tudor Barn. The venue is great steeped in History and a great atmosphere, helpful and polite team members. The rain stopped us enjoying the gardens, but we were very cosy and looked after indoors. Fantastic food served by I believe Silver Service server's They were synchronised in serving added to Our enjoyment.

Roast saved the day after dodgy starters of courgette fritters (£6.75!) and a familiar flavoured kids soup (£3). I had the lamb roast (£19!) but credit where it is due the meat was beautiful quality, sides tasty and portion good. Tried the cauliflower cheese for additional £3.50 - a great little sharer. Warm service and with little playground and open spaces outside it's a good family friendly option!

From the very first viewing we were really impressed by the venue and the team, their organisation, professionalism and knowledge was just fantastic, we knew straight away this was the venue for us, our friends and family. This level of service has been consistent and their attention to detail and thoroughness is what really set them apart from other venues. The day itself was just perfect, we did not have to think of anything, it was completely seamless, the food was of the highest quality and everyone loved it. The team are just brilliant and we could not thank them enough for making our day exactly how we had visioned it.

Overall our wedding experience at the Tudor Barn on Saturday 23 September 2023 was great. Positives were: - The venue itself and grounds looked beautiful on the day and were well maintained - The running of the day was organised very smoothly by the staff without being in your face - The staff were attentive, efficient and had a good attitude - The canapés, 3-course dinner and evening food was excellent and got a lot of compliments - The drinks reception music by guitarist J was just the right volume and played very well - The venue-owned items like tables, chairs, post box etc. were good quality and it was nice not to have to think about a lot of those things - The overall value for money I’d say was pretty good Negatives were: - We found it a bit tricky at times to personalise the day and the decorations as much as we wanted, and we felt a bit like the venue would prefer we fit into a ‘package’ - We’d said a few times we wanted no one to pay for drinks and a bar tab to be set up until the free drinks package started in the evening, but this didn’t happen and I had to ask the bar to start one before the ceremony, although this didn’t happen as I found out people were still having to pay for drinks - The DJ provided by the events company STAAR wasn’t great. He messed up the first dance song, didn’t play all the songs we’d asked for, refused requests even though we’d said to allow them and the mixing between songs was awkward - The selfie mirror operator, again provided by STAAR, pushed someone who tapped him on the shoulder to ask a question and grabbed a hat off someone’s head which pulled at their neck, so a bit aggressive

We had our wedding at Tudor Barn in September and had an absolute blast! Suzie and Jade were great throughout the process and we couldn’t be more grateful - everything ran so smoothly on the day, as promised it would! On the day, Georgia was fantastic as the wedding coordinator, calm throughout, despite it being 33 degrees! and always adaptive to any small changes. All members of staff were so nice and helpful, we couldn’t be more appreciative.

I got married at the Tudor Barn in July 2023 and the whole process was seamless. Suzie was super organised and helpful, and she patiently accommodated for all our needs! The day itself was a massive success, the staff on the day were very well-organised and we literally didn’t have to do anything on the day as they were so proactive and clearly very experienced. Everything went smoothly with no issues. Our guests had lots of compliments about the event and venue. The food was lovely & the venue itself was everything we hoped for. Thanks so much to everyone at Tudor Barn for making the day such a success.

The afternoon tea was lovely but the cups were dirty. I was told by someone else a few moths ago they were dirty. It was actually mentioned by another customer but the girl said they can't use chemicals. But all you need is elbow grease before putting in the dishwasher. So no excuse, I would like to see older staff as there was younger ones but you do not get that experience. The staff member with his hair tied back was good.

We got married at Tudor Barn last month and it truly was the best day of our lives. Suzie and the team made planning our wedding a dream! They really could not do enough and thought of everything. On the day the team were professional, friendly and a calming, reassuring presence throughout. The food was incredible - commented on by so many of our guests! The Tudor Barn is situated in stunning grounds / gardens, making the perfect setting for couples photos and for guests to have a wander through the day. I would recommend Tudor Barn as a wedding venue to anyone - it really was the perfect day!
