Ii Sud Restaurant

Absolutely love this place!!! It’s my fav new spot for work lunches and after work dinner :) You can definitely tell that the produce is bought in fresh from Italy. I am a massive fan of Italian cuisine and this place ticks all the boxes. Do try the Linguine Il Sud and then a famous Tiramisu. Absolutely amazing!! My friend had a Costolette di Angelo which is a tender lamb with potato and she said it was pretty great. The owners are very nice and will personally make sure you are looked after and will get you feedback on everything and make suggestions. And the buratta! Oh, it’s just brilliant!

So this is our secret hang out spot - the food is delicious, my favourites are the burrata to start and then follow up with a sea bass, then tiramisu as a desert. Prices are absolutely sensible and if you are here at lunch time there is a special menu in place for almost half price! Owners are lively and personally greet guests and are making sure you are cozy and taken care of. Location is great - right opposite the Sanderson Hotel and minutes away from Oxford Circus. AND their Aperol Spritz is legendary! Cheers!

Went there on a saturday evening with two friends. The restaurant looks fabulous, very stylish but cozy. The staff has been very welcoming helping us choosing and preparing for me a special vegetarian risotto. As a starter I had the aubergine which was very tasty. We tried a selection of desserts which were also very good, I loved the chocolate mousse. Definitely recommended. I will go there again very soon.
