Perfect pre theatre lunch. Set lunch menu represents great value. We opted for main and dessert and certainly could not complain about portion size or quality! Polite staff. Highly recommend.
Stumbled on this whilst looking for something to eat before our visit to the Lyceum Theatre to see the Lion King. Absolutely fabulous place- food was lovely and the service outstanding. Waiter was great and we even had the owner join us to check everything was ok! Highly recommend if you are needing something to eat before the theatre...keep up the good work guys and girls!
Fantastic Lamb Cutlets! they were out of this world, very tasty and with creamy mash. Good selection of wines. Friend had the the set lunch menu which was £12.95 for 2 courses, which was outstanding value for central London.
Thanks for the tasty food :-)
Great little spot with eclectic, gaudy decor. Lovely, simple Italian food, lovely wine selections and helpful, funny staff. A good place for a pre- or post-theatre meal.
Pre Show. Good food and service, especially for the west end.
Ideal for per or post theatre
Will happily go back and highly recommend to those who want somewhere nice that does not break the bank.
Fun Decor. This place has great food and a great theme to the restaurant.
Good Set Menu, I really liked the Bruschetta Starter Chicken Main, and believe it or not the ice-cream for afters was really really good.
Insane wine selection which was pleasant to see these days.
Service was good, had a fantastic waitress serve us all evening.
Will go again soon, try to sit on the ground floor we got there around 5ish.
Very good service! Food was delicious! We enjoyed it a lot and definitely recommend it for a nice dinner out in a great atmosphere of central London! Yes, and Savoy and the Strand view guaranteed!
Great food which isn't complicated but just right!
Wine list is very varied, but most of them very decent wines.
Been three times now and each time we have enjoyed our experience, needs a paint brush but otherwise a good little restaurant in the Strand.
Warmly welcomed, amazing service and deliciously fresh food, making Salieri a wonderful experience. Will be coming back again and this review is the least I can do in return for making me feel like an appreciated customer. The staff weren't aware of my special occasion nor were they asked to pull anything together for it. But they quickly realised, sent over a colourful fruity desert with sparkler and drinks on the house with a birthday song. A pleasant surprise and made me feel special. Thank you to all at Salieri and I'll see you soon.
A lovely and homely Italian restaurant at the city center.
Great food, a large menu and great service.
So happy they finally re open!
A must go to pre theatre or just for lunch or dinner central london !
The food was amazing, and accompanied by such a lovely and efficient waitress.
Amazing food, good portions and an excellent service. 9++
This is a really nice little resturant situated right in the heart of London. Outside the resturant looks a bit out of place with the surrounding street, but overall looks nice with the lights and decor. Inside the decor is much the same drawing on inspiration from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. There is artworks on the walls and from what I hear there is some riske artwork in the female bathroom as well. The staff are friendly and very theareical in their work, making for dinner with a bit of comedy. The food, alas, is only ok. I would say that the cabonara I had was nice, but lacking a depth to the flavor. This was also the consensus from the group from their meals. The prices were what you would expect, but perhaps a bit too much for the quailty of the food. The wine selection is ok, but again a bit expensive for the quality. The waiter while friendly was also a bit awkard at times. I would eat here again if there was reason to, but it seems a bit like a relic from a bygone era that needs to up the standard a bit.
Great food with nice service. Not very expensive. I recommend this place!
We had a lovely pre theatre meal at this restaurant last night, my husband had the cod and chips and I had the chicken breast with mushrooms and tomatoes. Both meals were really tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My only slight disappointment was that there were only 3 choices of dessert, I went for the cheese cake and my husband had the lemon tart, both lovely but would have loved more chocolate dessert options. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were hired to photograph an event at Salieri - really loved the atmosphere. Amazing food and wine and friendly staff with decent prices. Recommend!
The restaurant was as usual a delight, service good and the steak delicious. Downsides.... The food was not hot or even warm and at 31.95p a steak, without chips or veg was outrageous and £35 for a fairly average bottle of wine. Now I am apensioner will not be able to afford again.
