Bodean's Bbq - Old Street

My husband and I are KC natives that just moved to London. Imagine my surprise when I walked down the street today and discovered this gem! I couldn’t wait to come taste a bit of home here in London. I particularly like the pulled pork and beans. I could taste the joe’s bbq inspiration in the pork and the fry seasoning. I was very much hoping to find brisket on the menu and was sad to see it wasn’t offered. Perhaps this is due to a smaller menu offering in response to covid-19. I loved the wink towards my fav KC bbq place in the naming of the “Smokey Joe’s” pulled pork sandwich, and I really look forward to trying that on our next visit!

One of the best place in London for authentic bbq ribs and briskets . Customer service is top notch, I was welcomed graciously by Barbara ,who later patiently helped me choose the right dish. Waiting time is very minimal and food is Delicious!! Ordered the 1/2 BBQ RIBS AND Pulled pork and it was really good. The ribs was well cooked , the pulled pork was juicy and really tasty. Would recommend to try them during Lunch time (especially on Monday) cause you'll get the entire menu for half price.

It's another great location added to the Bodean chains across London. It does what it says on the tin really it's great food, great drink selection and amazing food, it's a very relaxing atmosphere and plenty of spacious seating however the only downside is during the week parking is a real pain but weekends are free parking so it's perfect. Every time we have visited the staff have been better than each other they make you feel very welcome during each visit.

The pulled pork sandwich and fries were delicious and the cole slaw was some of the best I've had! The service was great and the staff were all friendly. This meant a lot to me as I had just walked out of a different restaurant a block away because they ignored me for 15 minutes and never said a word to me. I was furious when I walked into Bodean's but was happier within minutes. 😁
