The best place to be ! It is where it’s happening. Really good crowd, people watching, great place for dinner and drinks, the food is great and so is the service, the live music is the finishing touch creating the perfect ambiance
Best sweet and sour! Even their corn sooop is so goood. Had good rice, noodles and prawns! The waiters are so friendly and helpful. It’s expensive but really worth it.
The most mouthwatering dinner was what I had last night at China Tang. We had the lobster, prawns, calamari and beef. Hard to say which item was the best. Everything was super. Service and ambience was fantastic too
We are so glad we accepted recommendation of a friend to visit this restaurant. While the ambience was impressive, the feature of the restaurant which left us most impressed was the service of our waiter Mr. Wong Chee Kong also known as Harvey Wong. His attention to our table was discreet and the service superlative. The food was delicious and Mr. Wong understood our palette and recommended well. I hope to visit soon. We visited on 02.01.2018 and this was a wonderful welcome to New Year.

Simply delicious . Brilliant service , great atmosphere fabulous food would go back in a heartbeat . Very much worth the money and the wait. Would recommend if you like sea food or Chinese food
Whenever in London, this is a must stop for me. The ambiance and service are flawless.
Love the food here and a special highlight to the Peking Duck which is ever so amazing.
Surreptitiously tucked away within the depths of the Dorchester, the China Tang Bar has long since been one of my favourite spots to spend a long and languid evening – the sort I might pop into for a quick cocktail, only to be all-too-easily compelled into staying on for another round, with a side of dim-sum and hot-pots too.
I have been many times and have enjoyed excellent service and food. Must visit on a trip to london. Need to book in advance as they are quite busy.
Brilliant Chinese in my Favourite Hotel----What More Can I Ask For?
Outstanding ambiance and impeccable service. The food was flawless.
The sweet and sour grouper fillet was the best I have ever had. The seafood dumplings were excellent. The egg noodles were amazing and soft. The Jellyfish was fresh and tangy (reminded me of kimchi). The lobster was fresh as well.
A must try for an self respecting foodie out there!
My dining experience here has always been fantastic.... I love everything about this place .. food , ambience, service and decor.... before your meal u must enjoy a drink at the bar , thay make some super cocktails and have a super wine menu.... and once ready for the food ... enjoy everything is good on the menu.
One of the most authentic Chinese restaurant in central London. The quality definitely matches the prices. All the dishes are warm, delicious and well displayed. Exactly to the level that I have in Hong Kong The only thing needs to improve is that the staff is not very familiar with the menu and the flow of putting dishes. But they are super friendly.
The booking process was easy and efficient, I was lucky to find a reservation on the same day after struggling to find one the previous week.
The staff were incredibly nice , making the dining experience even more enjoyable. And the food was amazing.
the hot and sour soup which was beyond delicious. 😋
I highly recommend it !
One of the best and most decent Cantonese restaurant in Greater London area. The dim sum here is gorgeous and unique with really authentic taste. Deep Fried Prawn Won Ton is obviously the best among them, without any sense of oily feel. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
Low lit setting at the Dorchester hotel, perfect for private dining experiences. We had the egg fried rice, the sweet and sour prawns as well as the crispy chicken. Absolute treat!
Favorite Chinese restaurant in London Mayfair Area. Located in the famous Dorchester Hotel. Restaurant opened by HK famous Tang family Sir Tang who has a long and strong British background. Authentic Cantonese dimsum you will find here. Delicious dishes. Highly recommended.
Visited here a few weeks ago for dinner. Food was wonderful but if I'm honest service is a little rude. Perhaps a culture thing but we noted even from the cloakroom to the table, its not the warm friendly service you'd expect from a Dorchester venue. That being said, food was great and prices are reasonable.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and service. Adrian deserves special mention for his great personality.
Some of the best lamb, beef and squid I’ve ever had. I ordered from the halal menu which had many options. Superbly delicious food in a comfortable, tastefully appointed environment. J and his colleagues provided incredible service for my anniversary meal. Many thanks!
Come for the duck and stay for everything else. All dishes were delicious, service was impeccable (attentive and polite). Atmosphere was chilled allowing us to have a great time with our friends.
Mea - crispy squid, prawn toast, crab sweetcorn soup. Peking duck, black pepper beef, chicken cashew nuts and braised aubergine.
All perfectly cooked, delicate and full of flavour.
We visited this place for my mums birthday. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, besides the crispy beef which hardly had any beef in there at all. For such a fine dining place I did expect the service to be better than normal however it was very very slow and we had to ask more than once if we needed anything. Which was quite disappointing... halal options available
