St. James Tavern - London - Photo album

Great atmosphere for a proper English Pub. The prices are a little touristy, but it was perfect for the cozy English vibes my friend and I needed. Very good selection of beers and the staff was really friendly! (I regret not leaving tips..) However, we need to review or take out the "bread and butt
Nice english pub in the city center with quite a traditional look. Good place to try a beef pie with mashed potatoes and a beer. Fair prices but the place is a bit too crowded and noisy to have a conversation. However, the service was very fast and it also possible to order and pay through the app.
Stopped in for a quick beer. Cold beer. The staff was very friendly. It did not disappoint.
🌟 Really great place if you like a to have a drink and chill out. Super friendly staff, if you are in the area it's worth a visit 👍
First ever time experienced authentic pub in UK, and I was delighted! Online reservation was needed because of central location in London near Piccadilly and good reviews...Staff was very nice and helpful. Ordering food and drinks at the bar and paying right away is a good thing. Crowded pub, delici
Nice traditional pub..warm and cozy place
Lovely little pub, nice atmosphere and staff very friendly. Very reasonably priced also. Had some nibbles when there which was yummy but had to leave to go to our show so couldn't order more. We loved it so much we returned the next day but sad to find it was packed and no space for us! Lovely littl
Great food, service, location and drinks. Awesome fish and chips.
Best pub in London. Very friendly waiters. Leam was great and as sweet as he can be. Excellent pints and friendly crowd. We stayed for a week in Piccadilly and ended up going every nite. Food was excellent and my wife liked the fish and chips a lot. Thank you everybody for making it a memorable exp
Fantastic signature salad, especially with the chicken and crispy bacon if you're not a veggie. Bacon and Jack burger really good - fresh and succulent. Great atmosphere. And they know how to treat a pint!
Great meal. Busy but the bouncer stopped it getting overcrowded. Meal was nice. It is a typical pub and pub grub. If you like that sort of thing, and we do, then you'll love it. Only gripe would be the toilets could do with freshening up. But when they have people walking in of the street to use the
Recently I visited St. James's Tavern in London and had a mixed experience: While the location right by Piccadilly Circus was convenient and easy to find, the service was nothing special and the place was slightly crowded for a Wednesday afternoon. However, the drinks and the snacks/sides that we or
Good portion of fish and chips. A must try! We also ordered fried calamari but portion kinda small but was good and tender. It was a busy mid-afternoon on 2/10/23. I want to thank the guys who stood up and cleared the table for me and hubby. They walked outside in the cold to finish their beers. Ver
On busy weekend, we, my wife and I, found an oasis: St James Tavern. very good staff approach on entrance, very gentle. Table with all hygiene care, simple and effective menu (on paper), my wife choose a chicken breast fillet and I a meat pie. I love eat something that we can eat at home but we foun
Stopped in for a pre-theatre lunch. Was relatively empty when we arrived but within a few minutes several large parties arrived and every seat was full. Despite the busy situation the staff were all polite and attentive. Food came quickly and was delicious.
I visited the pub last week with my wife. We were out on a shopping trip and saw the pub which looked really inviting. We went for lunch, had fish and chips and vegeburger (which my wife loved!). We loved the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff so much that we stayed for another 2 drinks!
We just happened upon this pub after we tried many other places like hard Rock café to be told that they were full at the bar lots of restaurants were closed and we were nor prepared to pay the exhortation price of the supposedly upmarket restaurants! We were so glad we found this pub. The food was
