I was brought here by a friend of Turkish heritage, so he knows a thing or two about Turkish food.
Without doubt this was the best Turkish meal, and indeed meal I have ever had. The meat was like butter, melt in the mouth and the food was served with a refreshing modern twist, in modern airy surroundings. Extremely friendly service also.
I had the Centik special which is to die for. And tried a Turkish white wine, Cankaya which was delicious. The grilled spicy sausage was also incredible.
Highly recommended!
Lovely restaurant with lovely food. The staff are attentive and I would highly recommend.
One of the best Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant experience you can have in central London. Imam bayildi, hummus, cacik (similar to haydari), tabbouleh, baba ganoush, kalamar, pide ekmek and baklava are very good. They serve traditional Turkish Raki and Turkish tea with traditional glasses. Professional, friendly staff. Outside seating is very nice, but cannot say the same for indoor tables.
Me and my husband go here pretty often since it's so close to our house. The food is great with huge proportions. Between the two of us we order one starter and one main course; and that's sufficient for us. It isn't expensive either. Great place and good value for money but the food is slightly oily and rich. Friendly staff and it's great to sit outdoors in summers.
Went fora after work with colleagues. Beautiful weather. Therefore we booked the table outside. The service was good and attentive. Prices are good. The food was served quickly and presented nicely. However, it wasn't as hot as I wanted it to be. Also, the portions were quiet small but filling! Overall it was good and I'd come back again.
A gorgeous venue that serves excellent food.
Kick things off with the felafel or the spicy prawns. The combination of flavours on each of these starters is really something special.
For the mains have a look at any of the lamb dishes. My favourite however, is the Yougurtlu kefte. The yogurt and and tomato sauce is beautiful and the minced lamb is delicious.
Service is decent and the restaurants has a nice and calm ambience.
Grilled meat platter for two was superb the flavour they get into their meat is insane. Took half home it’s huge! Turkish wine was also very good. Our waiters English was terrible my only downside. Busy Saturday night I got the feeling most of the diners had been going there for many years there was a great atmosphere
Brilliant restaurant everything was perfect
Friendly humorous service
Impeccable quality food beautifully prepared and really fresh
A family favourite 🤩
I have dined at this restaurant several times since I returned to the area over 20 years ago. With the spacious dining room and cheerful staff, bean dishes, seafood, and meats are all delicious and generous portions, making this a restaurant we go to often. My daughter loves the bolognese here for some reason.
Lovely restaurant located close to St John’s Wood station. Nice and spacious seatings. Loved the Special Mixed Grill! The meat was very tender and nicely marinated. Great customer service also. Would recommend.
Simply superb! The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. The service is great! We had a lovely waitress who was really knowledgeable, warm and friendly.
There is on street parking outside and it is reasonable.
We highly recommend this gem of an establishment!
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Super friendly and welcoming, amazing and fast service. Samet was great. Food is delicious, good quality, good portion size and fair prices.
Sitting indoor and outdoor. Location is good.
The Turkish coffee in the end is a perfect finale to a good dinner.
Enjoy 🙂
Amazing food, the Aubergine starter with warm bread was stunning. I had the lightest, huge Moussaka and my daughter had a wonderful authentic Lamb Shish.
The Baclava with vanilla ice cream was delicious.
Loved the Turkish wine.
Beautiful restaurant, lovely friendly staff, great location.
Perfect in every way 🥰
Delicious food, I had grilled lamb it was really tasty. Quality professional service , our food came within minutes even though it was quite busy. Nice family friendly atmosphere.
Great Turkish food. The lamb sheesh kebab was top notch.
Amazing welcoming staff and delicious food in a very pretty and stylish restaurant. Very covid-safe and cosy atmosphere. The only slight down side is the portion size is smaller than what I was expecting (the photo of the special mixed grill is attached here and it costs £19.95 normally and I typically get double the amount of meat and a Turkish salad plus pitta and rice in most restaurants). Nevertheless Allllmost perfect and worth a visit!
