Lovely atmosphere, great food, friendly and helpful staff. This is a lettuce pub, a little gem! How a pub should be in my view. Me and my brother had the cheeseburgers yesterday! Nomnomnom! Can't fault this place at all.

Remove the direction from South Kensington and you land with a much less sought-after neighborhood, and as aptly described by others, by a desolation alike that of small parts of the Shire should’ve Smaug ever found his way there. No burning buildings, mind you, but emptiness and a cold harsh wind that blows from the west.
One of the best pubs to pick in the somewhat desolate area that is West Ken/Kensington Olympia.
Decent inside, spacious, authentic not posh.
Food of a decent quality for pub food. Watch out for the sandwiches, the picture below doesn't do justice to the mega ciabatta loaves that encase your filling. Solid reports that the chocolate brownie is ace.
Would go for lunch, or a drink after work.

Had dinner, and the food was quite good. Fried calamari was really good. My friend has sausages & mash, I had Caesar salad with chicken. Both delicious, generous serving.

The Cumberland arms is a beautiful looking London pub. Blue tiles, hanging baskets patio garden, the lot. Lovely old wood inside. All in all a great place. Plenty of beer, lovely staff. Gorgeous!
I feel for £22 a pop that I should have been wowed especially considering their claim to be the best Sunday Roast in Hammersmith.
It wasn't wow. It was a solid Roast with most of the trimmings. Their roasties were spectacular though.
They maintain the strange ritual of not serving yorkies with Lamb, a concept I thought went out with New Labour.
But whinging aside, they kindly brought me out one and it was worth every bite.
Very friendly service but won't be going back for a roast.

Incredible food an atmosphere, and a beautiful outside area with loads of tables.
We have eaten here a number of times and the food has always been great. The menu is not huge, which I always think is a good sign. They regularly swap in new dishes to keep it interesting. Staff are good and service has always been quick. Their outdoor seating, beside Marcus Garvey Park, is a lovely suntrap in the afternoon. Good selection of draught and craft beers.

Expensive, but the meals are generously portioned and delicious! Excellent service from staff. I only gave it 4 stars for atmosphere because it's quite dark inside. I ordered the large risotto and it fed me for 2 days!
The food was very good. The quality was excellent at fair prices. We will definitely be going back.
