Really good food. £60 for 3 people. Great price in my opinion. Could perhaps improve the decor such as the menu and the logo of the restaurant which seemed a bit worn. However, food wise, it was great. Atmosphere was good . Quite busy for a Tuesday evening:)
We first came across La Tarantella a few years ago when we moved into the area and, faced with the daunting task of unpacking, decided instead to go out for dinner. Located down one of the side roads off Chiswick High Road, we found this charming little restaurant. We enjoyed the food so much that our next three dinners were from Tarantella.
I have been looking for a real italian restaurant for long time, as I am italian and I was missing my food ! Finally I can say I found one, with simple, proper and authentic food.. The menu is not too long but it has almost every kind of dish for different likes, seafood, pizza, pasta and especially desserts! Everything is home made so I am sure of the ingredients I eat. Been there several times after discovered :) defentely hardly recommended !

Tarantella was the answer! My Italian friend recommended it and they took a booking of 5 very late in the day. Great service and I tried the baby octopus pasta and it was delicious!! where do they get seafood like that sweet and tender! Apparently the standard has been high for years! keep up the great food!! 5* yum!

Want a REAL ITALIAN PIZZA? Visit La Tarantella!. We had the best experience dining at La Tarantella last night and living locally in Chiswick we have never been to this cozy, very homely little Italian restaurant with its friendly staff. We will definately make this our first option when it comes to having a fantastic, real Italian pizza. A great, warm atmosphere and a place where you can sit back and enjoy the best pizza for a reasonable price! We definately reccomend this to you if you've never been there. Thanks Nico for also being so friendly! You guys are great!

Real Italian food. Being 1/2 Italian, I know how real Italian food should taste. I have been a very regular customer, going at least once a week for several years now. This amazing little restaurant offers the best Italian food I have ever tasted in London. The service is 5* all the time and I feel like I am visiting family.
You will find that after one visit, you will keep going back for more.

Mamma's italian. With trepidation i write this review. it's not because i don't love the food it's just that it's a small homely place and i'm afraid i won't get a place when you read this. my friends and i know this place as "mamma's". it's good, hearty, italian just as you would imagine it would be if "mamma" was the chef. it's not's mamma but her children and they do a fantastic job. the atmosphere and the staff needs do nothing because the food is so good, yet because they are so wonderful, it makes it even more like home. it's not a big place so make a booking but whilst you sit there enjoying your food, you can't but help but feel sorry for the people waiting outside to get in for a bite. please, please eat here, just not when i want dinner!!!!!! gracie mille.
...just off Chiswick High Road, this pizzeria seems to have won the locals over. More like a rustic local restaurant than the gloss chains, there are only a few tables within the restaurant. The menu is as you would expect from a local Italian restaurant. There are plenty of Pizzas, Pasta, Anti Pasta and some special plates so there is a good deal of choice together with a reasonable wine selection, they also do a lunch time special which seems to be the norm for Chiswick nowadays. We just had Pizzas for our visit. Dee had Napoli (similar to what she ordered in Franco Manco), which had anchovies, olive and capers on a tomato and mozzarella pizza. This is a wonderful, family run Italian restaurant. We've eaten there twice now, and can highly recommend the Lasagna, the Tonnarelli with pistachio pesto and lams, and the pizza. They also have an affordable wine list. It is a very small place, so reservations would be a good idea.

My husband and I tried Tarantella for the first time tonight! The atmosphere was so lovely, decorations beautiful, and food was so delicious! We tried the Burrata, pate, duck Ragu & funghi pizza! Marks presence and service made the night so much more enjoyable too
We had incredibly nice dinner there. We had vitello tonnato to share as a starter and two pasta main dishes. Pasta was sooo beautiful, especially vongole. And pasta was homemade. Highly recommend this family running small restaurant in Chiswick
Went there for Saturday lunch after a long trek through London.
The restaurant's ambience had a traditional Italian style. We felt very welcomed and the service was great.
We ordered the burrata and garlic bread for starters and the Napolitano pizza as a main.
The food was fresh and the taste was supreme.
If I'm ever out in west London, I'm definitely stopping by here again.

Stumbled in for lunch and had the set menu. It was lovely home cooked italian food, really delicious, and we had a great wine to go with it. They were also very welcoming to us and kind to our kid.

Tarantella is a local folklore dance popular in Southern Italy in the Apulian region of Salento. I was born there. My fiancée brought me here for a date. I must say the food doesn't reflect any authentic food from that region and is clearly tailored for London taste. Nothing wrong with it. It's still Italian style and overall generous portions. Good value for money. I'd have expected some more typical dishes of the region.
