Stef’s At Oregano

The best pasta in London and i’m not joking. It comes out piping hot and literally melts in your mouth. Generous portions of sauce and the meat/fish are plentiful, its so succulent. Overall the food is incredible they have a wood fired pizza oven and the choice incredible. Steff the owner is so lovely and both him and the staff add to the experience immensely, wonderful service. Seasoned pro’s. The amount of regulars in here, including myself says it all. Delicious!

Cozy Italian restaurant with amazing food, great service and a very welcoming owner. We had pizza and pasta and both were delicious, generous portions and made of fresh, high quality ingredients. The waiters, cook and owner were one of the friendliest I met in London and super attentive (bringing my boyfriend a loaf of olive oil coated bread to finish his pasta sauce). We will definitely come back and would recommend a visit.

We have been here for a couple of times now and we loved the place and food on both visits. Clean, lovely atmosphere, dog friendly and good value for the food (unlike some Italian restaurants close by). Happy staff even when super busy and food on point for all 10 of us (from both of your visits), the pizza is made inside a stone oven which I think is the best on upper street in our opinion. We think Oregano deserves our 5* and would recommend this place, especially for their pizza 😋. It was recommended to us by a client and now we recommend it to our clients, vice versa.

Atmosphere: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 What can I say... the food is fabulous, the staff are especially attentive, and the overall experience was incredible! A buzzing intimate venue, with such a great feeling of belonging. Usually I'd pay up to £100 going out for a meal for 2, but at Oregano, I pay less than half of that, and for food and drink more than twice the quality of other nearby restaurants... a true hidden gem!

We love the food here and keep returning. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ve tried a few of the pastas and starters and they are all delicious, it just makes us excited to go back. The restaurant itself is really nice to sit in as well as some seating on the street which has a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back

Stef's is a friendly place. All of the staff were personable, kind, and funny. It makes you feel that you are a part of a much smaller community, rather than in central London. The food - pasta in our case - was exceptional. We went with the Tagliatelle alla Puccini and the Paccheri alla Calabrese, and they were two of the best pastas we have ever had (including our trips to Italy). As a bonus we also sat at a table outside which has a direct view of the kitchen / pizza oven. It was interesting to watch the pizzas be made.

Lovely place! The staff were very personable and made guests feel welcome. The food was delicious! Pizza really fresh and light and the portions for the pasta are huge so there's plenty to indulge in. The pumpkin pasta was yummy although naturally found it became a bit too sweet for my taste about half way through the plate. Overall, great place for authentic Italian food in the heart of Angel. I'd definitely go again.
