I am a ravioli man through and through. I have to say that was the best ravioli I've ever had. Hands down.
I recommend this cozy place to anyone staying in the area.
A very friendly laid back little restaurant in The Borough that serves a new menu every day. The chef and waiter chat with everyone and the guests all end up chatting with each other. The food is delicious authentic Napoli cuisine. If the day's menu doesn't appeal to you, Chef will whip up anything you like. They serve Gragnano pasta. The best, of course.
Flavours of Naples happens to be our neighbourhood local but if it weren't we'd travel across London to eat there. I've lived in London (north and south) for 30 years, and can't think of another restaurant that feels so much like dining in your Italian grandma's cozy kitchen. Great food, wonderful laid-back atmosphere, unusual italian wines, all at an absurdly reasonable price. For £10, try the aubergine parmigiana, more than enough for a full meal -- though it would be sad to miss their delicious burrata starter. Everything on the menu is delicious. Highly highly recommended but don't take our table.
ME AND MY HUSBAND WE BOOK THE TABLE IN THIS RESTAURANT.
DELICIOUS FOOD.RECOMMENDED .FOR SURE I WILL GO THERE AGAIN.THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND THE PLACE VERY CLEAN.
RECOMMENDED
Small, local, banger in Borough.
Located in the wasteland between Borough High Street and E&C Roundabout, don't overlook this inconspicuous Italian bakery/cafe/shop.
Italian produce lines the walls, tempting you to attempt an above average spaghetti bolognese next week. A handful of tables crammed in a corner with your standard café counter up front. Italian family (unconfirmed whether actually Neapolitan) giving you an excellent service - out to the toddler that brings in utensils when required.
Soup of the day was a taste sensation, spinach w/ cracking Parmesan. And a solid 9/10 well-made bread to dip alongside. All the sandwiches look amazing so definitely going back for one of those.
King-sized ciabatta I bought to takeaway went down a treat at a Cheese and Wine night.
Not as cheap as you might expect but the footfall there must be low, they need to break even, and come on mate it's not busting the bank, pay coz it's good yeah?
Would be v content to call this my local.
This was a completely unplanned visit yet it was delightful. Amazing food, nice service, good ambiance and impressive singer. Fish stew, beef rigatoni and their house red are divine! This will probably become my favourite family run Italian restaurant in London. Many have shut down during Covid so I am pleased they have survived. I was also impressed with how they have dealt with a distressed drunk man who randomly walked into their restaurant needing help while we were there. They have managed to resolve the conflict super professionally and with upmost humanity and generosity for the guy. I bow my head. This place is a little gem!
Great place for a date night if you’re into Opera. On a Friday night, totally unexpected (I didn’t read the reviews beforehand), we found ourselves indulging in live Opera. For such a small space, the acoustic was fabulous. We felt like we were propelled into an opera concert that came with a meal! Food wise, it was well executed. It’s simple Italian and true enough on its own, the price would have been a bit steep. But with the live Opera, this totally transformed out dining experience, hence justifying the cost. You gotta love Opera to love this! We had a great time!
We had a most wonderful dinner here. The food is all very fresh and made daily and it tasted so. They have opera and jazz on at times although not tonite. Will definitely come many times again. Everything was great!
I went on a Saturday evening and whilst I did make a reservation, I was accommodated and served immediately when I came as soon as they opened at 5 pm even if this was half an hour earlier than my reserved time. Quite a hidden gem, tucked away from the crowded parts of Borough High Street. Highly recommend the pasta of the day — generous portion and freshly prepared. I also ordered the special pizza for takeaway because it wouldn’t be a complete Neapolitan experience without pizza 😉. Great customer service and will definitely be back when I’m in the Borough area.
It was a excellent experience in London, a authentic Italian restaurant. Everything was perfect, the food, the the ambience and the service. We took pizzas and it was amazing and the it brought us to Italy.
Ciro, the chef was polite and lovely! We definitely recommend it, fair price.
Probably the best Italian Restaurant I’ve ever been to. Run by an Italian owner who cooks during the day and waiters by night. The food we had was cooked to perfection. We started with a burrata over grilled vegetables which burst as we cut it. This was then followed by our mains ofCannelloni with Spinach Riccotta, and an Nduja Pizza made from the best stone baked dough you can possibly dream of.
10/10 restaurant, run by a 10/10 man.
Go here if you want to try the best Birra Morreti in London
Had a lovely margarita pizza from here. Tasted great but slightly on the pricey side!
One of the best Italian restaurants we've been to in London. It's a small but cozy restaurant and the staff is very efficent and friendly. The food was really good and very similar to what you can find in Naples. Prices are reasonable. We went on a Friday night and there was a tenor singing, which was nice at the beginning but a bit uncomfortable after the second song (because the place is very small and it was difficult to speak while he was singing).
Tonight was such a special night and spending it at Flavour of Naples was sublime. We enjoyed a terrific dinner created by Chef Ciro, along with the incredible operatic talent of Naomi. We look forward to tomorrow!
The fish stew and lamb ragu were heavenly, very homely feeling that is rare to find in London. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting.
