Mixed feelings about this place. Food was really good - delicious vegetarian nut roast with potato, carrot, celeriac, gravy and Yorkshire pud. Friend had two grazing dishes - mac n cheese and chip butty. Sry happy with food, however in 6 weeks in U.K. this was by far the most expensive drinks by far. For a basic large glass of house Pinot Grigio and a double JD and coke we paid £19.60. This was £4 more than the dearest we paid anywhere else (and we've tried a lot!). Not impressed. So thumbs up 👍 for the food 🍴but not for the booze 🍷

Met two Scottish friends, who were visiting Tate London, for lunch, at The Morpeth Arms, nearby. Ate in the Spy Room, overlooking The Thames. Excellent food...AND LOTS OF IT...MASSIVE AMMOUNTS and priced very fairly. Good ambience, not over crowded...I sensed some locals were there...ALWAYS a good sign. Excellent friendly and personable service by Andrew and his people. A great treat for my friends. Job done. Thank you!

Very nice pub. I have been to a few pubs in London and I think this is one of nicer pubs. Old fashioned and very well maintained. It is a block away from Tate Britain near the Vauxhall Bridge. I had some wine and sticky toffee pudding, which was perfect for a cold misty winter day in London.

On the way to the Tate Britain, my family and I realised that we would need some lunch, luckily right round the corner is the Morpeth Arms and were drawn in by their witty chalk board invitations.
Located across the river from the headquarter of the SIS building, the Morpeth Arms really cashes in on the tourist's and public's hype and fascination with everything Bond and 00. The clear spy theme through out the pub isn't particularly subtle but it is fun, for example we ate our lunch in 'The Spy Room', where there were binoculars next to the window and pictures of Sean Connery on the walls (not complaining).

The atmosphere and deco was really the pub's winning feature. The lunch itself really wasn't that great. I had hoped for a proper pub sandwich, you know the ones I mean, sandwiches that are full to burst, delicious fillings crammed into chunky slices of crunchy bread that you can really sink your teeth into. The Morpeth Arms was a bit of a sadder story. My blt reminded me of a bacon sandwich that I would make to cure a hangover, the fillings clumsily put together, which then proceed to fall out. Also the bread seemed to be straight out of Hovis's extra thick, nothing interesting, and I left my crusts. Also our chips on the side were a bit on the hard side.

Overall, a nice pub, a pub with character and individualistic flair. But if you're planning on visiting maybe just pop in for a drink, as the lunch sandwiches really weren't anything to rave about, however I like to think the dinner would be a lot better, and maybe more their forte. Also, only pub I've ever been in with a live ghost camera.

Decent Young's pub on Millbank close to Tate Britain. Three cask beers on handpump when I last visited but, oddly, there was no Young's beer available!). Lots of outdoor seating - some of it covered - to view the MI6 building across the Thames.

Great local pub, discovered on the last night of our stay, perfectly located. Perfect for a drink on the way home and a great meal. Will be back love from Australia 🇦🇺

Very helpful, very friendly, great location. Service was very good and the food was ok as well. Wheel chair entry was really easy both indoors and outdoors as well.

We came for a birthday celebration. The Sunday roast was amazing. We ordered the beef rump and vegetarian wellington and highly recommend the dishes. The staff were very helpful, efficient and service was exceptional. We had a lovely table upstairs in the spy room with a nice view of the thames. The pub was bright, clean and spacious. We will definitely return.

Nice pub by the River. Lots of seating and tables downstairs, with outside tables when weather permits and a private function room upstairs called the spying room as the pub is across the river from M:I6. Good selection of beers and spirits with a Nice wine menu. The service is very pleasant. Prices are around average for the pimlico Westminster area.

Closed the disabled entry for the queens lying in state until sat. So we went for lunch here instead .Lovely pub, we had the platter to share and 2 small plates with chips for 4 of us. All served quickly and nice and hot , but not impressed with the cheesy chips ! Apart from that would definitely eat here again .

We booked a Sunday roast at the last minute on our way down from Birmingham. This was an excellent roast. Expertly cooked full of flavour. My partner had the vegetarian Wellington and said it was the best ever. Nice range of beer and wine list. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend it.

Lovely place! We went on a quiet Sunday afternoon, and had a fabulous time. I was very curious about the history of the pub and the legendary spirits that reside there, the girl at the bar was very kind to offer me a little ghost hunting tour down their basement. We will be back for sure!

Friendly staff, especially the young man at the bar - we felt very welcome. Great food - the burger was very tasty, and the sausages as well. Was pleasantly surprised by the prices. 10/10, will come again next time I'm in London.

Quiet at this time of the day, popped in for a drink and a snack after a Tate Britain visit. Good food and beer, very friendly staff. The kind of pub you want to come back to.
