Decent Young's pub on Millbank close to Tate Britain. Three cask beers on handpump when I last visited but, oddly, there was no Young's beer available!). Lots of outdoor seating - some of it covered - to view the MI6 building across the Thames.
Great local pub, discovered on the last night of our stay, perfectly located. Perfect for a drink on the way home and a great meal. Will be back love from Australia 🇦🇺
Very helpful, very friendly, great location. Service was very good and the food was ok as well. Wheel chair entry was really easy both indoors and outdoors as well.
We came for a birthday celebration. The Sunday roast was amazing. We ordered the beef rump and vegetarian wellington and highly recommend the dishes. The staff were very helpful, efficient and service was exceptional. We had a lovely table upstairs in the spy room with a nice view of the thames. The
Nice pub by the River. Lots of seating and tables downstairs, with outside tables when weather permits and a private function room upstairs called the spying room as the pub is across the river from M:I6. Good selection of beers and spirits with a Nice wine menu. The service is very pleasant. Pric
Closed the disabled entry for the queens lying in state until sat. So we went for lunch here instead .Lovely pub, we had the platter to share and 2 small plates with chips for 4 of us. All served quickly and nice and hot , but not impressed with the cheesy chips ! Apart from that would definitel
We booked a Sunday roast at the last minute on our way down from Birmingham. This was an excellent roast. Expertly cooked full of flavour. My partner had the vegetarian Wellington and said it was the best ever. Nice range of beer and wine list. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend it.
Lovely place! We went on a quiet Sunday afternoon, and had a fabulous time. I was very curious about the history of the pub and the legendary spirits that reside there, the girl at the bar was very kind to offer me a little ghost hunting tour down their basement. We will be back for sure!
Friendly staff, especially the young man at the bar - we felt very welcome. Great food - the burger was very tasty, and the sausages as well. Was pleasantly surprised by the prices. 10/10, will come again next time I'm in London.
Quiet at this time of the day, popped in for a drink and a snack after a Tate Britain visit. Good food and beer, very friendly staff. The kind of pub you want to come back to.
Friendly welcome and excellent steak and ale pie with lots of gravy. I asked for chips/fries instead of mash, was delicious!
This lovely dog friendly pub opposite the River Thames at Millbank SW1 is a little treasure. Great staff and food, especially the honey mustard sausages. Have to be tried to be believed. Well situated up the road from Tate Britain so a great stop for tourists and locals alike 👍👍👍👍
The food was good, but not great, and the service a bit slow at times, but the good humour and kindness of the staff at The Morpeth Arms was more than 5 star. The manager kindly took us to the basement vaults and gave my pals from Canada a private and much appreciated historical tour. It was fanta
Straight away nice atmosphere and staff were welcoming. I had booked an outside table and there was a small issue in that I hadn't been allocated a table number. Fortunately there was one free. Unfortunately it was by the front door where all the smokers stood and puffed away. Could a smoking area a
Pleasant atmosphere early evening drinking for some
Nice pub in a great location next to Tate Britain and near Vauxhall bridge, playing on the spy theme with it's proximity to MI6 building. We came for lunch - good food, friendly service, characterful decor. I didn't have one, but my dining companion said 'best scotch egg' he's ever had. The menu, al
Strongly recommend! After visiting Tate Britain I was looking for a nice pub to end a London weekend trip with some fish & chips, this was even better than I hoped. The food was super good, you can tell the products used are fresh, my fries were very well cooked (and I live in Belgium so I should kn
