Tasty food... very good service and value for money... loved the typical indian flavour... staff is polite and courteous... ambience is good and conveniently located
Brilliant service, small portions but amazing quality food, very reasonable prices for the area. By far the best Indian restaurant I've been to in the area.
A restaurant that captures the essence of Indian food very closely.
Very courteous staff and quick service.
Vegetarian dishes are very close to the authentic Indian taste.
Saffron rice is a highly recommended side, which is essentially a staple for Indians. Team it up with Dal Aalu and you are set.
It would be better to order the extra spicy version, if you have an Indian palate, otherwise the dish might taste bland.
Overall, a good experience.
4.5/5 for taste. 4/5 for service.
Indian resturant...visited on 19/05. The indian nonveg cuisines are quite up to the mark & similar to the actual indian dishes.
The interior is quite good. But the quantity the give is quite dissatisfactory compared to the price they take.
For take away they provided 10% duscount.
Excellent! I can't imagine why it doesn't have a higher score. The food was quite tasty, staff helpful with good suggestions. Nice setting. Easy walk from South Kensington tube. Liked everything about it.
Nice place to get some indian food near Kensington. The place can get filled quickly, so a reservation is recommended. Non-vegetarian options are good. Meat is halal. Slightly expensive but you can't expect cheap in Central London.
i recommend the desert with the ice cream and the carrots, can’t remember the name but it was very delicious. as well as the spicy pumpkin side. i have to admit that the portions are a little small for the price u pay, but still doable. regarding the ambiente, i can’t say too much, since we sat outside, which was alright, car sounds and what not are kind of unavoidable. the servers were really nice and we had some smalltalk. i’d give it another visit the next time i’m in london :)

This is a restaurant that has been running for 66 years. My children have grown with this restaurant dishes. It is our favourite Indian in London. We always feel welcome by friendly staff. This is not an anonymous place and we love to know there are atill places like that in London. Highly recommend their butter chicken and their lassy is like no other. Highly recommended
Good food. Not big portions but for us it's worked just fine! Very generous service with wide Indian smile
Fully halal restaurants (no alcohol) which is rare in London. The set up is neat and clean, another thing which is rare in London. The staff were super friendly playing with the kids and the plates and wet tissues were served hot! The food was good (4/5) and served quickly. I think this is one of Londons hidden gems and I'm surprised it wasn't more full considering how pleasent the staff were
Delicious food, very kind staff and prices are quite good for the area. Great first impression.
We had a lovely first experience at Moti Mahal! Very friendly service and great indian food! The Naan bread was probably the best I have ever had, and all the other dishes we ordered very balanced and tasty! Prices were also fairly cheap, which is always welcomed! The restaurant does not serve alcohol but you can pop into a Tesco nearby, if desired. I would definitely recommend visiting Moti Mahal when around the South Kensington area!
A delightful Indian restaurant near the South Kensington Tube stop with tasty food and great service
