I visited Ask Italian in the 02 for dinner with a friend on a Saturday night. There was a wait of about 40 minutes to be seated, even though there were numerous empty tables. It seemed they had a severe lack of staff.
When the food arrived, it was very delicious and the portions were adequate. The prawns starter was beautifully cooked and seasoned, and the lasagne of which I ordered the grande with meatballs was divine.
The meal was reasonably priced, and our waiter was friendly. Not everything we wanted was available, which was disappointing as I was looking forward to having lemon tart.
Overall, it was a lovely and satisfying meal. Shame about the long wait.
Been there couple times, amazing place amazing food . Our amazing waiter Florian helped us through the menu was very patient with us , he made sure we had everything we needed . Definitely coming back . Service 10/10 food 10/10
It's probably the best place to eat that's affordable around the O2. I went to an event last week and wanted something simple and quick to eat. Ask Italian has gone a bit downhill since it first opened many moons ago..arrive early if there's an event otherwise you'll have to wait quite a while.
My partners pasta bake was cold so had to have a new one made..the best thing was the folded garlic and mozzarella bread. Not that I don't recommend just that it's an average place.
Staff are great and professional even when overworked and crowded.
Nice and Cousy , food was good , service was fast for starters but a bit slower for main course , staff were extra friendly , prices were very reasonable , location within the O2 complex was convenient .
I will defiantly recommend it to others .
We had a lovely meal here before a concert in the arena. The staff were very friendly - especially Laura who was just lovely, she was so friendly, chatty and funny. The food was really nice and surprisingly no more expensive than any other Ask Italian we have been to outside of London. The pizzas were very nice and very filling and the chips were lovely. Would definitely return and recommend.
The waiter Florian was very good, quick made sure we were okay and was very nice. The food is delicious and authentic. And the actual restaurant is beautiful,we barely had to wait.If I could give it more stars I would! I definitely recommend the restaurant and our waiter Florian
The food was superb. The staff were very polite and friendly and the service was quick. I tried the vegan No'Duja Vegana as I'd not had one before. I was very pleasantly surprised, it was an amazing pizza!
My reason for 4 stars not 5 is there was a very shrill beep that happened every minute, this went on for about 30 mins, until I asked a waiter what it was. They said they didn't know, but would look into it.
Visited London my hometown in many years and this place was immaculate the pasta was well seasoned and I had left overs service was a 7/10.
Food was amazing , our amazing waiter Florian helped us thru the menu. We must have ordered coffe with someone else a women , she bought the coffe with no spoons no sugar however Florian saw and made sure we had everything we needed. A very polite and positive man . Would definitely recommend this place and ask for Florian if you want a 10/10 service . Definitely coming back
Pleasant meal, ordered the prawn pasta which I think was fair value for money. There weren't many other people although it was Thursday evening. It's a good option and can't go wrong with it.
