We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and personal attention taken by this lovely family owned & operated restaurant. Everything was fresh and there were also had a gluten free alternative for most dishes. Fair prices and excellent dessert options. Loved the lemon sorbet in the lemon peel. Thank you for a lovely dinner. Travelers from Benicia, California.

If you are close to all the main attractions of London including London Eye, Houses of Parliament, and the river, but you want a cosy place to have lunch or dinner, Cotto is the right choice for you.

Opposite Lambeth tube station and 10 minutes walking from Waterloo tube station, Cotto is a small Italian restaurant with great service and food.

My favourite dishes would be the carbonara spaghetti and definitely the risotto with chicken. Its fairly cheap for Central London, as you can spend no more than £30 for two people plus drinks.

A down side of the restaurant I should mention is that there is not an outdoor seating and all the tables are quite close to each other so you do not have much space to maneuver.

Otherwise, the manager is absolutely amazing and he always provides an extra attention and care to the customers, which therefore I always come back to Cotto.

As a family of 3/4 gluten free members, we were absolutely shocked to see over 90 percent of menu items can be made gluten free. What is most surprising that the restaurant if family owned with owner who has celiac and they make their own GF bread, pasta, tortallini, pizza dough and even cakes!!! Most incredibly of all that it was absolutely the best GF Italian food We ever tried!!! If you want to feel like you came to visit a family and have someone understand food allergies challenges then this place should be on your list to visit! I think once you do, it will not be the only time!!!

One of my favourite gluten free home made, family run places in London. Such an amazing menu the flavour of the food is incredible. The salmon Pasta was amazing and the pizza was fantastic. We also shared home made gf bread to start which was warm and tiramusu for dessert. Only remembered to take photos half way through eating apologies for the mess of the plates we decided to end up sharing the pizza and pasta. Highly recommended, also highly recommend booking in advance which can be easily done through their website.

Incredible restaurant. Everything is 5/5, service, atmosphere and of course the food. I have coeliac disease and rarely ever seek out Italian cuisine (despite how much I love it) because there are never gluten free options. Cotto completely caters to coeliacs offering gluten free bread and everything on their menu can be made coeliac friendly. The service is also incredible, felt very welcomed and very well looked after. I ordered the gluten free tagliatelle seafood and Jono ordered the gluten free Ravioli - couldn’t even tell it was gluten free. Will be going back to try the pizza!

This is a coeliac dream spot! Only 2 items not made GF and they have a dedicated GF kitchen. From the moment we booked I had 100% confidence in the GF options and was not disappointed. The staff and owner are divine and the food and wine are something not to be missed. Will go again without hesitation and make sure you get the pizza!

We walked in off the street, and they were able to seat us. Freshly cooked Italian food. We had mozzarella and cured beef, and baked aubergine for starter, and a calzone and ham and artichoke pizza for main. All food was super tasty. The waiters were attentive and pleasant. The host was nice and had a laugh and conversation with all customers. Price was reasonable. Would go again.

Visited last month with some family who highly recommended this restaurant, as they had visited previously. I absolutely loved it! They had a generous about of vegan dishes as well as plenty of gluten free ones. I ordered the vegan risotto & it was 10/10! Just wish they had a vegan dessert. The owner was lovely, and had a great energy. Left full and laughing! Would definitely go again.

A great restaurant with many gluten free options. We ate gluten free bread and gnocchi with tomato sauce and mozzarella. For dessert we took tirmiso cake that was delicious. Comfortable prices and the service was wanderful. The manger is really nice . The restaurant is right across from Lambeth North station.

Almost didn't go in here to eat because it look a little run down. So happy I did. As soon as I sat down and they gave me an olive salad I knew this place would be great. They walk around with a basket of bread to chose what you like. I had a beer, glass of wine and pasta (forgot the name), then tiramisu and a cappuccino. Everything was amazing and total bill was £37.50.
