M Restaurant Threadneedle Street

I came here for my anniversary, the service was incredible and this was certainly fine dining. The atmosphere was nice, for a work event or special occasion, but maybe the music was loud and a bit too upbeat for me and my husband. The food was great. We did the steak roulette and were happy with what we received, although I think my steak was a little too charred on the outside. For our anniversary they gave us a little surprise of non alcoholic bubbles (as we weren't drinking) and a chocolate/nutty treat. I would come here again, but please be aware that this is fine dining, therefore quite pricey and justified!

I love coming here from breakfast it’s my go to! And I go a lot, it’s a great place with great staff. However there was a recent menu change, my favourite firecracker eggs with Chirzo has been changed not the price that’s seems to be the same, now if you want the chirzo it’s an extra £3! Whoever decided that was a good idea major fail!

First time eating here (Friday lunchtime). It was quiet but that didn't detract from an outstanding meal. Starters were generous and unusual. Scotch egg was stand-out as was the Japanese pancake. Wagyu mains melt-in-the-mouth, cooked to perfection and paired nicely with a few sides. Price is toppy but you're getting seriously quality food. If you don't order the snickers dessert with the indulgence cocktail, then I'm afraid you're missing out... Decor was impressive - we had a spacious booth. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the city. We went for dinner with a friend and everything was excellent! From the moment we walked in the beautiful receptionist greeted us with a smile and in a very polite manner. The service was 100% perfect, food was absolutely delicious 🤤 . We truly recommend M to everyone!!!

Enjoyed a farewell dinner with a close friend of mine. We were paid attention to and treated well from the beginning to the end, from choices of drinks, to the recommendation of quality aged Rib-eye steaks and their unique complementary sides. Florian has mastered the idea of what a customer looks for in a fine dining restaurant and despite our young age, provided us with the respect and hospitality we sought. Great food, service and atmosphere. 100% recommend the restaurant and hope you are lucky enough to have Florian take care of you as well.
