With hubby's birthday fast approaching, I wanted to treat him to a decent steak & at somewhere that felt special. He got exactly that!! � We shared the rib on the bone and it was soooo yummy. The wagyu tartar was presented just how they showed it on masterchef, it was theatrical & the taste was spot on. The scallops were amazing too. The music choice were 80's classics - it bought back fond memories. If you can get there for pre dinner drinkies, the bar upstairs is a good place to start. Champers was flowing everywhere. �� Staff were on the ball & charming. Love to return again one day.
Excellent place to spend an evening with friends for dinner. Friendly staff, fantastic food and atmosphere. And the design of the restaurant is breathtaking. Our steaks were cooked on point, the fries were yummy, cocktails delicious. Would certainly recommend.

Absolute perfection both on and off the plate. I again lucked in with cocktails being part of our voucher deal; so himself had to be satisfied with water while I had a Red Mojito and a Tequila Margarita. I would have been quite happy to snuggle myself in for the afternoon and sample my way through the cocktail menu, but lunch called. The staff were utterly charming, having a giggle with me while I was considering treating myself to something that wouldn't break our bank. A rose prosecco was recommended and it was spot on.
As another reviewer said, the steak tartare arrived with all the theatrical smoke and drama as seen on tv. The other star of the show was my pudding: Dulce de Leche flan. Despite disliking coconut (the prosecco had kicked in at this point, and by now I was loving life), I enjoyed every last tiny crumb.
Too soon our time at M ended. Altogether a fab couple of hours. Beautifully stylish without being pretentious, upmarket without being exclusive.
I would love to come back, and I will if I get the sniff of an opportunity.
As the first venue for my dining club, it was perfect. The food, the decor and the service was absolutely spot on. The staff including Mike were so friendly and approachable. Would definitely recommend it and will be going back.
Bookatable 'Free Flowing Prosecco'deal arranged for my friends. Fabulous evening. Service excellent, all had steak for main meal which was cooked to perfection. We went on a bookatable deal and we weren't disappointed! Free flowing prosecco is exactly that and the food was ansoloutely delicious. The decor and ambiance is brilliant and the staff are very, very attentive! We were looked after by Slavi and he did a tremendous job from start to finish, 3 happy ladies!!!

The Intelligent Millionaires Network London use M Restaurant for our members dinners & get togethers as the food, the service and the setting is outstanding. Would strongly recommend.
I came here for my anniversary, the service was incredible and this was certainly fine dining. The atmosphere was nice, for a work event or special occasion, but maybe the music was loud and a bit too upbeat for me and my husband. The food was great. We did the steak roulette and were happy with what we received, although I think my steak was a little too charred on the outside. For our anniversary they gave us a little surprise of non alcoholic bubbles (as we weren't drinking) and a chocolate/nutty treat. I would come here again, but please be aware that this is fine dining, therefore quite pricey and justified!
Amazing atmosphere with a central location but the food didn't match the expected standard. The starter which was a salad tasted bland. The steak was well prepared and best part of the dinner. The cheesecake was subpar. The drinks are very expensive.
Amazing dog-friendly restaurant! Me and my partner were celebrating our anniversary and we decided to bring our dog too, who had a great time as well (see the picture of the steak :-)). Highly recommend it to everyone!

Have eaten at M restaurant in Victoria before; this was my first time visiting the Threadneedle Street location.
Beautiful decor, spacious, lots of seating across the two floors and they have some private dining rooms/lounges. They have a pool table and table football. Great atmosphere with old-school r&b & hip-hop music.
I went for the bottomless brunch and really enjoyed it. Food was delicious and I loved that it included a variety of cocktails rather than just prosecco. The service was a bit slow and there were periods where we did not have a drink for 15-20 minutes, because it took them some time to make each cocktail individually. I think they should really take drinks orders as soon as they bring out each round, rather than waiting for people to finish their drink, because then people are left waiting without a drink.
We did complain about this to the staff and they gave us a bottle of Prosecco whilst we waited for our cocktails to be made, as well as additional time of bottomless cocktails.
Also, I wish they had sides to order as part of the brunch. There is steak & eggs on the brunch menu, and we wanted to order some fries to have with that - we were happy to pay extra but they said they don’t offer any sides and the brunch items is all they make during that time.
Not having the option of any sides is why I have knocked off 1 star from my review.
Overall, really enjoyed the bottomless brunch and would definitely recommend it.
Private room good but underground so felt a bit like a 'bunker". Service great - girls were attentive and helpful. Food was tasty but some starters very small (tuna sashimi tiny) and desert a bit unnecessary. Overall - good night in the city
I had a great time at a professional dinner organised here. There was a warm welcome - the staff were all very friendly. The food and service were great. The restaurant looks amazing too. I'll definitely be back.
Great setting. All seating was comfortable. Very fancy Japanese style toilets. Our server was lovely and friendly. We went there for a bottomless brunch. Food was delicious, a bit pricey for what we had, and the cocktails were good. What let it down was the bottomless as the service was really slow. We ordered as we were finishing our drinks and had to wait a good 15-20 min before we got another drink.
We had M hired out for a private work event. The zones were great, restaurant, dance floor, cocktail party and karaoke room. The food we had was fantastic, plus the service was on point, with super helpful staff. I can't comment on what a standard night out there is like. But we had a great timw
Dined here with a close friend of mine and everything starting from the food, service, venue, and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. We had 2 rib eye steaks which were cooked with perfection to our preference. The other recommended side dishes were delicious! The sommelier was extremely helpful with the selection of wine as well. We were suggested some desserts but were too full to have any. Lastly, I would like to give special thanks to the Manager, Florian for making this experience flawless. We will be returning with friends and try out the desserts too!
Enjoyed a farewell dinner with a close friend of mine. We were paid attention to and treated well from the beginning to the end, from choices of drinks, to the recommendation of quality aged Rib-eye steaks and their unique complementary sides. Florian has mastered the idea of what a customer looks for in a fine dining restaurant and despite our young age, provided us with the respect and hospitality we sought. Great food, service and atmosphere. 100% recommend the restaurant and hope you are lucky enough to have Florian take care of you as well.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the city. We went for dinner with a friend and everything was excellent! From the moment we walked in the beautiful receptionist greeted us with a smile and in a very polite manner. The service was 100% perfect, food was absolutely delicious 🤤 . We truly recommend M to everyone!!!
Absolutely exquisite! Booked for our three year anniversary dinner venue and had the most wonderful time dining, drinking and playing pool in the members area. If you want to book this experience I recommend using Truly Experiences as they cater for all of your requirements once you arrive at M Threadneedle. We enjoyed a really satisfying main meal with gnocchi and wagyu steak cooked very well. The addition of pears to the gnocchi was fantastic and the cocktail was very well done. Our starter unfortunately was too small and over priced (two pieces don't make up a skewer!). Overall ambiance and service was good. The drinks as expected were a bit too pricey.
Wonderful excellent steak to have. Would recommend people to give this a go if you want some lovely meal. Although it’s a bit chilly outside, having a steak with red wine was absolutely amazing! Definitely would come here again in future when you can dine in the restaurant.
First time eating here (Friday lunchtime). It was quiet but that didn't detract from an outstanding meal. Starters were generous and unusual. Scotch egg was stand-out as was the Japanese pancake. Wagyu mains melt-in-the-mouth, cooked to perfection and paired nicely with a few sides. Price is toppy but you're getting seriously quality food. If you don't order the snickers dessert with the indulgence cocktail, then I'm afraid you're missing out... Decor was impressive - we had a spacious booth. I love coming here from breakfast it’s my go to! And I go a lot, it’s a great place with great staff. However there was a recent menu change, my favourite firecracker eggs with Chirzo has been changed not the price that’s seems to be the same, now if you want the chirzo it’s an extra £3! Whoever decided that was a good idea major fail!
