Pall Mall Fine Wine is the sister site (and older sister at that) of Shepherd Market Wine House (which I visited last month and loved). As its name succinctly suggests, it is indeed a fine place to enjoy wine at  a rather well heeled address. Like Shepherd Market Wine House, Pall Mall Fine Wine is a little laidback little bar and shop in a upscale local. Whereas Shepherd Market makes an airy and lighthearted statement with its cheery Provencal yellow tone, Pall Mall broods with a dark burgundy cast. Set midway down the covered Royal Opera Arcade and opposite a cello shop, it’s got a hideaway feel to it – like a cubbyhole for connoisseurs. And, connoisseurs certainly should be happy to seek refuge here. The wine list is phenomenal (nab a bottle of The FMC Chenin Blanc 2013) and bolstered by a good selection of cheese, charcuterie and such. Foie gras (£12/60g)? Yes please.

We stopped by chance and we.found a lovely wine bar with a relaxed vibe. We met Federico, he is very knowledgeable and very kind. It is a quiet palce, away from the tourist crowds of Central London, even if just around the corner from Piccadilly Circus or Trafalgar Square. Good Job.

I been in this shop several time and is always a pleasure to see Alberto and Federico. They are very professional and the wine and the food is amazing. I tasted the best wine of my life thanks. See you soon.

One of the greatest wine bars in London! A truly charming and idiosyncratic place. It has a fantastic array of wines and knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Plus a fine selection of breads, charcuterie and cheese. It has jazz evenings and is available to book for private parties. It is a cosy venue on two floors and is the 'Jewel in the Crown' of The Royal Opera Arcade. Truly one of the most elegant and interesting bolt holes to be found in the West End!

I come here almost every evening after word and a nice glass of chilled wine is just what you need after a stressful day. They have a big choice of wine from all over the world and Alberto e Federico are very prepared and they know exactly what is best for you. I tried the food with my friends last night and it was lovely too. I highly recommend it :-)

Visited this lovely little gem Pall Mall Fine Wine on Saturday 2nd May 2015 2 ladies visiting London all the way from Scotland. We had the deal from Open Table for the cheese and wine platter it was absolutely delicious, the young man serving us was every part the best host keeping us happy and of course after sampling our 1st glass of wine (House white) we did need to sample another and at only £5 a glass well worth it. I would recommend this gem of a place and its worth going for a visit if visiting London.

This is an excellent spot - you can sit at one of the tables in the arcade and watch the world go by or have a cosier chat inside. Good wine and plates of cheese and charcuterie are what they do, and they do it well. Their lunch offer (correct to July 2017) of £15 for two glasses of wine and a mixed plate is a bargain.

Lovely little Hideaway, can get busy quickly so getting a spot in summer can be a challenge. Winter there are usually a few up until Thursday nights then it gets back to summer levels. Just be aware they put service on everything even if you order from the bar!!!!

Excellent wine selections, great service, nice people! Best experience in London shopping. We were getting a very good bottle of Pinot Noir from NZ-and were asking for some near by place for buying cheese to go with it-but we were told stores were closed.(it was late evening)So the gentleman who helped us gave some superb Gruyer-all on the house!!! BEST MEMORIES, thank you! Alexa, Bob
