Best Greek restaurant in London. Amazing food with a warm welcome and a professional, passionate Family. A must go to. 22 of us for dinner and flawless service, out of this world food, everyone enjoyed. Big special thank you to Zeta for taking such great care of us as well as the rest of the busy restaurant, not many people can operate such a busy ship so smoothly and always with a genuine smile. Not one to miss.

Went to Retsina on a friends recommendation and was not disappointed. For a local it was very busy but the food was excellent "Grilled seabass was stunning"" the service was a little rushed but still excellent. I'll be coming back and would recommend this place if your looking for a quality greek meal.
Been looking for a fantastic Greek restaurant to dine at for a long time, Finally found it. Lovely fresh food, Good service, Relaxed modern neutral decor, Definitely a cut above the rest of London's greek establishments. Highly recommended, I know I'll be visiting again.
I went with a party of 10 and service was fast, food good, portions very generous. Staff more than happy to give advice on the food too. Lamb skewers and seabass get special mention.

There is simply no better Greek restaurant in London. Am I biased? Yes, well they're my neighbors, but beyond that where else could a nice jewish boy from NYC emigrate to London and find a restaurant with ice cold tsikoudia (Crete). I drink a shot with a wedge of lemon before and after the meal.
For those who would offer Lemonia (Primrose Hill) in its place, I say love and palates may indeed be blind.
One of my closest friends in the world is Greek. His name is Manos and his parents unofficially adopted me after I downed a pint of tsikoudia and then sat down to devour all of their cooking. I learned to appreciate Greek food from the source. When I eat at Retsina it is like sitting down to Mama Megagiannis' table, and all is right with the world.

I have visited so many times over the years and tried various dishes. I cannot fault this restaurant the slightest. The service is always excellent especially when it comes to the owners Zeta and Hary!
The food is always obviously fresh and very tasty. The portions are generous and very filling. The only issue is all the dishes are so nice you don't know what to chose!
If you are a seafood fan I highly recommend the baby calamari, grilled octopus and chargrilled prawns. These are a personal favourite. I am always amazed at how soft the calamari and octopus which are consistently cooked to perfection.
A meaty personal favourite are the lamb cutlets always cooked precisely and are tender and juicy. If you are someone who would like to try many new flavours I would suggest trying the Meze options which is good value for money and also gives you a wide selection of the flavours.
Highly, highly recommend if you like good food!
Excellent Greek restaurant in the heart of Belsize Village. The food is superb and a very good selection of meze the traditional Greek food. The mixed platters are huge and for 2 people you will definitely eat well I ended up takign some home! It's a good choice of you like Greek and if you are looking for a nice place to eat with family and friends. Good wine list and lots of vegetarian options
Fantastic food and brilliant service. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Had the shared meze platter which is great value for the price and quality of different meats, fish, dips and breads. Will definitely be back!

Amazing service and delicious food.
We book a table for 3 people and even if each of us ordered something different, we got to try all the dishes and wow.
To start with we order Retsina wine which was great and Dolmades and Melitzanosalata. They were sooooo good. Then I ordered the Mixed grill, with big portions and every single piece of meat was delicious, and my friends ordered the meatballs and the octopus. No words to describe it. Special mention to the octopus, sometimes it can get a bit rubbery, but here is was super tender and perfectly cooked. Well done!

Having moved to SW London I’ve not been to Retsina’s in a fair few years. I took my grandmother for a midweek dinner and was so relieved to be reminded at what a special independent restaurant this is. We were made to feel so welcome, the service so friendly and accommodating (from seating me early with nibbles to charging my phone). The new decor is bright, fresh and modern but still feels intimate. The foooood - Devine fresh sardines, my grandmother loved her vege moussaka and the crisp Greek white was a total treat. The bill was very reasonable, we vowed we’d never return to our usual chain haunts! Incredible restaurants still exist, no ‘we need the table back in 90mins’ here - just unfortunately for me, it’s in North London ha!
I had an amazing dinner at Restina for my first time.
Had the grilled octopus to start and the mixed grill for main with 2 glasses of nice red wine that complemented the meat followed by choc ice cream and brandy for dessert.
All the food was tight quality, service was fair and to standard.
The owners were there and were really nice.
Highly recommended.

The best Greek food I ever had, Taste of Cyprus and Greece, very welcoming, warm atmosphere. Had the best experience ever. The flavours are absolutely superb, real respect for the whole team. Chefs are excellent (Cyprus lady and Greek husband) every service team were polite, lovely. Nice music also. Great teamwork.
We had a large birthday party for my mum. The restaurant and staff are amazing. Food is high quality and generous, wine is amazing, staff are super friendly. This is a second generation family restaurant which is operating at the highest level. Everyone in our group of 50 people was super complementary and we had an exceptional evening. Thank you!
This is a local hidden gem. My boyfriend has been to this restaurant 15 years ago. And now that we moved nearby I took my parents there for dinner: best decision ever. I pre-ordered the lamb shoulder for 2 people. Beware that we were 4 people and had starters and could not finish the lamb. But the taste of this lamb shoulder was delicious!! We will definitely come back. Also try their Numea red wine.
We were not so lucky with our first waiter who was not very attentive; he didn't look at us when taking orders and forgot to bring us bread that should have accompanied our Tsatiki. When another waiter noticed the errors, he took over and we had a better time from then onwards! Tip: don't get the non-greek waiter.
