Found another gem of an Indian restaurant here in the heart of London last Friday. The food was amazing, every dish was perfect especially the best tarka dall and paratha I have tasted. Madras was 'proper', I mean just the right balance of spice and heat. Staff were fantastic and very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended. I will be back.

Great food and service. It is now one of my "go to" places when I am in London.

Great food and very well priced, especially given the location. Staff friendly and helpful with the menu. I would highly recommend and will be going back for more. The spend per person included a bottle of Moët, otherwise it would have been around £25 per person.

One of the best Indian meals we've ever had, friendly people.
We couldn't fault this place at all.
Thank you for a lovely meal Saturday 19th November

Cosy little restaurant with decent food for a fair price. The portions are not massive but filling and tasty. The starters we had were quite nice except from the lamb that was a bit chewy and flavorless. But the main courses we had were good and the naan very fresh and tasty!

Delicious Indian food right next to our Hilton Hotel. Very nice owner and very clean place to eat. Food was ordered to go and was devoured on the Eurostar train back to Paris.

I eat here almost every week and it’s an absolute favourite. The staff are friendly and the food is properly home cooked and very very tasty. Yum yum yum!

I found this restaurant to be a real delight with very tasty good and great service. The waiter was very helpful with recommendations. The only downside was the bathroom, which was way downstairs and very cramped, but again this is central London.

Perfect! Amazing food, nice staff (despite a small "language barrier"). Since the restaurant is so small, it really provides its very own special atmosphere, wich I really enjoyed. Absolutely recommended!

This friendly family-run restaurant serves good curries in a cosy atmosphere and I like it very much. Much of the menu and the ambience are reminiscent of 30 years ago but they have added some dishes that have become popular more recently. This is an expensive area of London but prices have been kept reasonable, partly by serving portions that are not ridiculously large. I was also amazed to find a bottle of French house wine on the menu at £11.75 (in 2019 in case you are wondering in which decade this review was written!) Definitely worth a try, but best to have a plan B because this is possibly the smallest Indian restaurant you'll ever find in UK, so it's pot luck whether they will have a free table at the time you turn up!
