Food was absolutely delicious. A very generous serving of bread and olives to start. The bread was fresh and fantastic and the green olives were the best I have ever had.
The wife had succulent sausages and I had a burger, cooked beautifully to medium rare and delectable chips.
Also very reasonably priced too! Top quality
Good service, wine and food! Traditional and I recommend
Eight friends and I dined here last Friday night, in the smaller of the two exquisite private dining rooms. Whenever I dine here I enjoy the quiet and unassuming, but friendly, efficient and assured service and hospitality from the internatiinal team. The lower ground floor bar is a characterful and historic oasis in central London, the smaller dining room is charming and cocooning, the raised ground floor dining room is like being transported back to the formal dining room in a Georgian residence.
Visited Davy’s with my colleague!
They have a wide range of wine, from lightest to the boldest.
Wanted to go for red, as it is Christmas season 🤌🏻 I know that may sound stupid ha!
But the waiter, suggested Fiano, it was so good.
It is definitely a good place to catch up with friends and colleagues.
Very nice warm & welcoming atmosphere. Historic part of London. No problem booking a table for 5 at 6.30pm on a Wednesday however the restaurant was well used and a steady trade of diners throughout the night.
Food was excellent and reasonable (starters and main course for 5 with two bottles of wine came to £220 inclusive of service charge). I will definitely go back.
A great find and lovely place with excellent service, very good drinks and tasty, well cooked food.
Easier to recommend you just visit it rather than explain here, in detail
5* as a great pub compared to some of the options in the area. Great place in the winter, warm , cozy, tucked away from the elements.
Good beer selection as well as wines. Have only sampled the bar food menu but as can be seen it’s up to scratch .
A hidden gem in the bowels of St. James's. Subterranean vaults, now a wine bar and restaurant for serious oenophiles. A bit club-like, and all the better for it. Not the sort of place for small children under 35.
Cosy & relaxing atmosphere. Excellent selection of wines & ports... And their own Davy's Old Wallop is served in tankards. The new menu looks great with fantastic vegan options. Keep up the great work team St Davy's!
This is a bar and restaurant, and perhaps a bit of an undiscovered gem. It is tucked away in Crown Passage, very close to St James St, Pall Mall, and King St. Space for dining in the public area, in more private alcoves, and also private rooms. Prices of drinks and food are very reasonable for Central London. Service very good too. I've always enjoyed myself there, and have always booked in advance, so I can't say what availability is like without a booking. Have been there many times, and will happily go again. The "Old Wallop" house-brewed beer is very good too.
A private lunch with two friends. Outstanding service, fine wines and tasty food. Very happy to recommend. Thank you
Food gorgeous - could do with slightly bigger portions! Wine is beautiful and service friendly.
