Amazing food... if are you find really italian food go in this restaurant.
Food very good and service very friendly and professional.
Good job
Fantastic food. We had Pizza and Lamb cutlets.
Great Italian restaurant with
great pizza and real Italian food. The tiramisu is amazing! The service is always friendly and efficient too. Located in a lovely street in little Venice.
This is one of my favourite restaurants. I love the location (Formosa Street) and the buzzy atmosphere, and on a summer's evening like last night, with the windows and doors wide open and busy tables outside, one could even feel like they were dining in Italy.
To start, my table of five shared a selection of antipasti. It was all of an excellent standard, but I think the burrata and cerignola olives (99% sure that's what they were) were especially great. For anyone out there who, like me, likes olives but can sometimes find them a little intimidating/intense, these were perfect. Their flavour was subtle yet tasty enough to the point that they were moreish. The burrata was creamy and flavoursome and complemented the other antipasti well (courgette, rocket, bresaola).
I should also add that I had a glass of the house white wine that was delightful.
For main, I enjoyed a spinaci pizza (tomato, mozarella, spinach, egg and parmesan). The only thing I will say about the pizza is that the egg wasn't runny. "It's up to you to ask for a runny egg if you want one!" I hear you protesting; I was under the impression it went without saying but perhaps I was being naive. I've clearly learnt an important life lesson here.
'Egg-gate' aside the pizza was great; the perfect proportion of tomato, cheese and guest ingredients, and cooked just right. It even had a little dough horn growing out of it that contributed to the evening's amusement.
My fellow diners had only praise for their mains, in particular the tuna tartare.
I regret to say that we didn't have time for dessert. I have no doubt it would have been wonderful though.
The service is top rate - we were greeted in a friendly manner by a lady who seemed to be the owner, read the specials by a jovial waiter and served in good time.
In summary, I would thoroughly recommend The Red Pepper. I had a great evening; this was of course due partly to the superb company but also due to the excellent food, great service and ambience.
my neighborhood italien. family like service team well organized and friendly. only had biz so far though absolutely tasty with quality toppings. also good selection of wine by the glass. they also do carefully picked daily specials with fresh ingredients. i am delighted to have this venu on my door step.
I like the restaurant not that they have the best pizza in the world but because the whole experience is quite good. The pizza was good although i have had better ones. The drinks are particularly superb. The ambiance is a thumbs up. The prices are also reasonable. No complaints there!
I have visited the restaurant recently after a long while and not only did it bring back memories but gave us pleasant fresh ones too. The food and the drinks are served with a smile. The ambiance is cool, relaxed, chill jjust the way we like it. The food is delicious.
I live nearby and often come here to experience a culinary heaven The pizza along with tiramisu and salami to accompany were great. W had the most wonderful time when i went with my friends. The prices are also reasonable. The staff is friendly ad i shall never stop coming here.
An amazing Italian restaurant. the pizzas and pastas are delectable. The service is spot on. The portions are more than generous. We had the right flavors in the food. It was well cooked. The ambiance is lively, fun and happening. The prices are also reasonable. We had fun and shall return again.
The restaurant serves the best "tiramisu" in London. Their secret ingredient being a special kind of cheese. The service was attentive and kind. They also claim to have the best pizzas.Even though i have been here a few times already, i continue to look forward to visiting here again and trying everything else available on the menu. A must try!!
Looking for tiramisu? In London? This place would definitely do justice to your taste buds and I can assure you that you will walk out totally satisfied. The food served is delicious and the environment in which it is served is very elegant. The prices are very affordable and not at all high. Recommended.
We were a group of five people and managed to bag a table as we had made prior bookings. The food was delicious and extremely delectable. All the dishes were very well prepared and very well presented. The Lamb is a must-have here. The wines and drinks were also delectable. The staff was friendly and was extremely hospitable. I would definitely recommend this place for a fulfilling experience.
Made to order & fresh, so be prepared to wait ~ it’s totally worth it! Hidden gem.
Excellent pizza 🍕 really tasty and the squid as a side. A little expensive but worth it
Such a wonderful surprise! Excellent all the way around!! Our daughter has severe food allergies to dairy and eggs. The gentleman that helped us was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and so accommodating. We all loved our meals and wine. The Ragu was fantastic!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping our daughter feel safe and for such a great meal!
5Stars!!!!!
We’ve been coming here for years. Delicious pizzas and pretty decent wine list for a small family place. Highly recommend
It was amazing experience that I had in this restaurant. I would love to come back many times to have this wonderful pasta and grilled squid. And the Tiramisu is incredible taste that you won’t expect from the other tiramisu.
The best food ever especially beef ragu
The pizza really is fantastic at this place. It definitely deserves more recognition than it has. The service was fast, the food was served fast and hot. The base was crispy and could support its own weight, not oily, fantastic home made tomato base with good quality toppings and all at a reasonable price. The only constructive feedback would be to spread the tables out a little more, atmosphere > covers is a general rule for me. It feels a little cramped and stale inside. Will definitely be returning.
We had great food and the best tiramisu and cannoli one night. Two nights later we picked up some takeaway tiramisu and cannoli. When we got home, we noticed that the cannoli was not in the bag. I called the restaurant and they delivered it to my home. Exceptional service!
Nice neighborhood place. The ravioli was amazing, everything else just fine as well for a casual place like this. Nice option for a dinner if you are visiting little Venice and want to have Italian
Great service and delicious food made with high quality ingredients.
I really don’t understand how this place could have a low rating.
