Disclaimer: went to the Allpress in Dalston Lane.
A simple but tastefully designed place, bright and open. The space is quite massive indeed! On the outside you have a beautiful garden, and plenty a people enjoying the sun. Inside is great i you want to work for a bit, and they have an (unexplored by me) top floor, also colossal in size. The coffee was good, nothing ground-breaking. In the old Zomato, it would have been a 3.5. With the new system, I feel 3 penalizes Allpress too much.

Usually at eateries, I am not greeted with remarks about my dress sense (or lack thereof).  As I was to dive in once again to a more trendy crowd (where I often feel slightly ill at ease), I thought I would have to dress with a particular style.  As I feared, as I approached the cashier, I was greeted with particular scrutiny, an exclamation of “is that Darth Vader”?  There was some basis for such an interjection as I wearing my T-shirt with the heads of various cast members of the Star Wars franchise scribbled in cartoon likeness.  I quickly found that I had made the right dress choice this fine day as he then proceeded to bear his Death Star shirt.  Brotherly comradehood makes things taste that much better.

Excellent spot for a lite brunch. I wish I either lived near here or worked very close by, as I am sure I would be spending as much time in here as I could.
The coffee is roasted and ground on the premises, and is excellent. So smooth and full of flavour.
They also sell some excellent panini's. The kale and pecorino is my favourite.

Allpress Espresso was the first coffee specialist company in New Zealand created by Michael Allpress, who only 10 years later successfully brought this to the Australian market. Our London shop only opened in 2010, though the New Zealand fame had quickly generated a line of followers.

We woke up this Bank Holiday Monday with a craving for some tasty bruncheon eating. First we tried Hurwundeki- the antique shop come coffee shop underneath Cambridge Heath station- unfortunately there were no croissants on offer, however, only average looking sandwiches. So we went on a wander ending up in Shoreditch by which point we were getting desperate. Settling on a smart little cafe called Allpress Roastery which was bustling with people, we did not know what to expect! Inside there is a selection of about eight different types of coffee, a large coffee roaster and thankfully various breakfast options from soft boiled eggs to filled croissants. By this time we were pretty ravenous so went for two of the larger options- smoked salmon with cream cheese on toast and a "mixed breakfast plate" alongwith an americano and flat white. The smoked salmon and cream cheese was served on tasty bread with chopped chives, a large lemon segment and a piece of gherkin- all in all a nice way to s

Wandering around in Shoreditch I visited AllPress. Espresso drinks or filter brews, some sandwiches, other breakfast dishes, and some bigger options for lunch. A big window allows seeing the roaster in action, and you can buy coffee beans or grinder to take home.

There was a time when I didn't drink coffee. It is so long ago that I cannot remember those dark, non-caffeine fuelled days. I also cannot remember the moment when this neo addiction started. Maybe it was sometime around 1992, that I am pretty sure, but when or where, who knows. As the years go by, the memory fails you see. Like most people with a dependency I am willing to travel far and wide to get my shot. Thankfully I am very happy that I've not discovered any places outside of London where I feel a need to go for a double espresso. Phew. Well apart from half a dozen places in New York city, one in Alexandria in Egypt, and at least 20 places in Vietnam, and also not forgetting that cafe in Kuching. Ohh and that small but oh so fine place up in the mountains in Filandia in Colombia. But apart from them, everywhere else is in London. So far. I've been thinking for a while now which is my favourite coffee shop, but it is so difficult as they all mean something very personal to me. So

All Press used to be my one of my local cafes in New Zealand and got me through many university assignments, therefore I was a little over excited to see the cafe down near Brick Lane.

The interior is fitted exactly the same as back home which was a little nostalgic as were the trendy staff they manage to employ in every country. The place was buzzing and had a good atmosphere and we sat at at the bar in the window providing a good view as the world walked past.

My soy flat white took nearly took too long to be delivered, fortunately just as i was starting to wonder, it showed up. It was a good coffee: the soy milk hot which is sometimes a novelty and the coffee strong and delicious. I also had an egg and jamon sandwhich which was yum with very fresh bread and crunchy crusts!

The staff: not as friendly as back home but not as rude as some places, and the wait for coffee and food: a tad too slow. Strangely this is exactly like back home, I wonder if they tell their staff the world over to employ the motto "good things come to those who wait?"

Worth a visit regardless!

Great coffee shop on Redchurch street! They have great indoor and outdoor seating, we like to sip our flat whites outside. The espresso is tasty and well made. The service is quick and friendly. We always stop here when we are in the neighborhood!

A great coffee shop on Redchurch Street. Such an amazing place to grab coffee and baked goods in the morning. Highly recommend if you are looking for coffee in the Shoreditch area.

Had the Ethiopian batch coffee for its floral qualities - as a filter, didn't have the transparency as expected and was a bit of a disappointing experience overall, not terrible, but I have had better elsewhere in town. Perhaps being a Sunday lunchtime the coffee prep was a tad rushed. Girlfriend had a pot of tea, which was beautiful, and well presented. The glass teapots work wonders. Cafe is a real coffee destination and can be quite difficult to get a seat, however there were stools and small tables outside. Would be nice to have more seating if possible considering how in demand the place is. Equally tables could be cleared and cleaned quicker. The staff are lovely: friendly, engaging in conversation and generally quite polite and helpful. Will visit again as I'm sure Allpress coffees are great - have had them in my local coffee shop and really enjoyed the taste.

The roastery that first turned me on to quality coffee all those years ago. Great to see it still going strong

What nice coffee! I had a cup of iced coffee, which was perfect size for me. Not too big. The cup is stylish with slim design. The iced coffee was perfect for a warm day like today. The cafe is clean and welcoming.

Fabulous beans, we buy the ART espresso roast (their darkest roast) by the kilo delivered every fortnight. But we especially love coming in for a coffee and having a chat with the lovely staff, especially Nathan!

Worth the drive from Chelsea to Redchurch St. for their coffee beans. It was absolutely wonderful meeting a lovely Korean staff. Great service. Looking forward to coming back!
