Sakana Sushi - London - Photo album

I am a regular customer. The sushi is of the highest quality, and fried/stirred dishes are spot on as well. The restaurant is small and always full so the service can be slightly on the slow side sometimes, but the eating here is always a great experience.
This place is absolutely wonderful and is my go-to spot for sushi in the area. The portion of sushi and sashimi is always generous and the quality is always fresh. They don’t skimp on the fish at all and a single nigiri is very filling, simply ordering 3 portions of nigiri was enough to make me feel
Great Japanese food, very nice starters and sushi. If you are not against not traditional sushi try the house specials they have some quite unusual combinations at the same time great dishes.
Very good sushi, one of the best I've had in London!
Great little local Sushi place near my place of work which has become a regular meet and gossip place for my friends and I. You’re given a menu and tick off what you want before handing it over to the waitress. Everything is then cooked to order and brought out as it’s ready, delicious and fresh. So
A cosy and original Japanese sushi restaurant! 5 stars indeed!
The quality of food is very good and most of the time I find the pricing very reasonable. I am a fan of authentic Japanese food after having spent a lot of time in Japan but that also makes me demanding. Here, I'm not let down. The restaurant is unpretentious and the food quality is high. The interi
Amazing cozy and small sushi place. The staff is super friendly and the place seems family run. The food is fantastic and the price treasonable. Really enjoy coming here frequently.
Overall food was good. Seems popular with Japanese nationals. Avoid the yakisoba.
This place has Great food. If you like sushi you should definitely visit it. Nice choice on the menu and very friendly staff. It was a bit noisy when we were there and don't forget to bring your own alcohol as it has no licence.
Dare say one of the best underrated sushi places in London. Although I’m really not an expert (I’ve reviewed only 3 other sushi places before), I’m impressed by the quality of their fish and various offerings. We had a variety of options from maki to nigiris and ramen. The egg rolls were also delici
One of the key indicators of a good sushi / Japanese restaurant is the ratio of its 'local' (in this case, people who identify themselves as sushi-lover or Japanese) clients. Since its opening a couple of years ago, Sakana is still frequented by such local clientele and continues to appease with its
Had a good lunch here. Sushi was good. The chicken karaage was fantastic. Plenty of options for adults and children. The restaurant was fairly empty at 1330 mid week.
Initially, I didn’t think much of this place but after walking past it a second time with a friend we noticed something curious about it. It was closed for a private event full of Japanese businessmen. This piqued our interest and decided to take a look. It turns out the sushi chef is a former Nobu
I have walked past this place on numerous occasions as the shop front and signage just never looked right to me. Read a few reviews here and decided to give it a try and boy am I glad I did. Sushi and rolls were excellent - not the cheapest but really authentic and quality food. Will now be my go to
